Sketch, Doodle and Design to Scale
Use Archisketch as you would a tracing pad. Sketch. Draw to
scale. Layer over your sketch to further develop your ideas.
Erase. Add symbols, colour, text and dimension lines. Import
images or plans to set the scale. Zoom in without loss of
quality. Rotate a shape, a layer, or the entire drawing to try
different options.
Visualize your ideas in 3D and see them in context. Use smart
one- and two-point perspectives, and adjust your perspective
grid and view point. Align your perspective to an image, and
your lines automatically snap to the vanishing point. Print your
drawings to scale up to A1 size, or export sketches to use in a
CAD application or Adobe Creative Cloud.
Archisketch is a scale-aware sketching program ideal for
Architects, interior and landscape designers, product designers,
design students, or anyone working with design on an iPad.

Easy even for a novice
I came to find Archisketch whilst trying to put some ideas down for a building project. My intention was to show the professional that I am working with ideas that I already had. He was impressed by them. I don’t believe that this has given me superpowers but it has allowed me to put to paper some of what is in my head
It’s Ok
Quite clumsy to use, if your hand touches the screen it loses the area your working in.
The eraser is not nice to use.
Drawing straight lines is awkward when switching from sketch mode. It has potential but needs work
Excelllent
Working in bespoke glass. Tried many apps before going for full version, Archisketch. Does what I need, simply, uncluttered, uncomplicated, well thought out. I use a graphics program in the office, but find myself using this more and more for site visits. Worth the cost.
Didn’t work
Didn’t work.
Paper moves around but no lines appear
Akward to use in places
This app is great and would be probably be 5 stars but it’s akward to use in places.
1. It seems to have low acuracy say I what a wall at 277cm it wil round to 2.8m and that adds up to inaccurate drawings
2. It also seems to have niot be tested on the latest iPadOS with their multitasking, the bar to change the units and rotation sits in the same places as the new ‘3 dots’ to multi task apps and it makes it impossible or damn near impossible to change units
3. For some reason when you move a object it doesn’t move in real time and moves in the background and shows a line but that line is the center of the object and not the object with the border width so it’s impossible to line up objects without doing it 20 times
'Pointless trial mode
Can’t do a thing in trial mode
Unuseably slow
App lags so much it’s practically useless
Disappointing & confusing
I’ve been looking for a to scale app & would happily purchase the full version of this, if it worked.
I can’t seem to add any new layers, no explanations as to why.
Set up is way too bare bones & it takes a long time to figure it out. There needs to be a tutorial mode for this as online resources are patchy & unreliable.
This app seemed really promising & I was impressed by some of the features but if I can only have one layer then it is of no use to me.
May just be an issue with the trial version but I don’t see why, as they limit the amount projects to 1 & sketches to 2.
Not worth taking the risk of spending £15 on something that won’t work.
Line Thickness Issue.
It seemed good at first until I tried to modify one of my own maps.
They are .jpg’s converted from AllyCAD.
The centimetre thick lines are thinner than one pixel lines. (I assume that is what px means)
If I use text then that contradicts the pixel theory so I must be doing something wrong - please confirm this and let me know. It will be much appreciated.
Thank you
Crashes on some exports
Great app but one project always crashes when trying to print, email or export. Emailed for tech support but limited response.
Shame as the rest of the app is great but need to know after all the time put in to the projects I can get an end product out or pointless and a waste of time
