Best app ever

Such a pity

The app itself is a lot of fun to use! BUT no matter which resolution you choose for your file in the beginning, it exports everything in 72 dpi, even in the paying version! Recently the undo button also disappeared. The support site is dead since 2015, and no answer either on social media. Such a pity for a really cool app!

Impressive results but not intuitive

I’m very impressed by the painterly look of the oil and pastel brushes. It is very satisfying and feels like painting with real traditional medium. However the ui could improve a lot. I didn’t find it very intuitive to use compared to Procreate. There are no gesture controls, canvas options and layering is very limited, so i doubt if you can create print ready professional art with this app. Also it depends on how much you want to use layers. However if you are looking for something that mimics traditional paint, this is doing the job and is fun to paint with. I haven’t found any procreate brushes that would give me these oil paint effects and decided to pay for the pro version. To be fair I think it’s worth it. Just hope that the developers will improve the ui and make it more user friendly :)

Har andra bra måla/rita-appar. Den här gillar jag verkligen. Den är värd sina pengar. Nu har jag all utrustning med ipad och penna och behöver inte släpa på annat ifall jag får ett anfall att måla.

Its very good and fun, pretty easy to use and its SO realistic. BUT in my opinion it should be a lil bit more things available for free yk.

As a traditional artist this app makes me so happy. I can finally paint correctly and enjoy working on art again.

It’s wonderful!

I am a painter and sculptor so working outside, in a studio or a workshop with real materials is my thing. Having said that I like using an iPad Pro as a digital sketchbook using my Apple Pencil. I’ve been trying out various apps for this purpose over the years and particularly like the messy looking ones like Art Rage. I’m not an illustrator so I don’t need fine multi layer graphic editing So when I tried Art Set a few days ago I knew that I wanted to be using the pro version. I never write reviews but this time I just had to. It’s Wonderful!
