Great app

Great drawing program! The pro plan is abit pricey though.

I hate it

Det kostar MEGA MYCKET och jag hatar därför clip studio paint (Förlåt om jag lät arg men det är rätt så dyrt. Ni kanske skulle ha en engångsbetalning istället?)

Good app, support bad

The app itself is really good and well worth its price. Excellent brushes, tools and materials, with lots of neat special tools that simplifies a lot if you work with comics in particular. Be aware that if you have any issues, though, the english-language support is REALLY not good, and any issues may never be solved. I reported a bug in a program feature. After waiting two weeks for a response, I was told they couldn’t replicate the issue and they suggested some solutions that didn’t work. After that, they never responded to my follow-up emails. This was over a year ago. Now, I have a new and worse bug to handle where the program suddenly stops working in the middle of a gesture. I described it in detail in a support email, after a week I get a reply with a link to their website’s basic info page about gesture settings. 🤯 Quite disappointing for a pro-level product (and I do have the paid version).

Awful😡

Does not work at all!

Crashes all the freaking time.

I love this painting app and how my work looks with the watercolor brushes. I really do. If it was just the painting part I'd give it 5 stars. But it keeps crashing, taking my work with it. Just the past two hours, I've restarted the app five times just from random crashing (not counting the amount of times I've minimized the window to go look up a reference, when it almost inevitably crashes). And this is a ten hour piece already, so imagine all the crashes I didn't bother to count, thinking it'd get better if I cleared up memory space or something. I have an ipad pro, so that's plenty of memory space, 80% of which is free. No heavy app activity in the background. I've tried everything I can think of to make it stable, but the only conclusion I can make is that the image itself is too large for it, because it crashes more often the more layers I use. But it's really no bigger than what can be expected as a commercial illustration that will be printed as a book cover. Save yourself the heartache of lost work and download Infinite Painter or Procreate or something else programmed for the iPad.

Perfect for pros!

As a professional Manga artist, this program is perfect! So glad it is avaliable for iPad pro, so I can work with my mangas everywhere. Worth every penny!!

Love it but it’s too pricey

I have used CSP for years and I love it! I think the pro plan is well worth the money, but I really don’t understand the nearly trippled price for EX, since the difference is only exporting and saving multiple page docs and making animations longer than a second (24fps). I recently learned how to animate and was stoked to be able to do so in my fave app but it will only allow one second in the pro plan. My education already requires a very expensive adobe subscription... I simply canˋt pay that much for the EX version.

Slow and doesn’t save properly

This app shows that the iPad isn’t a PC. It’s just too slow compared to Procreate. Also, when you move to another app, and then go back after a while and Clip Studio has to restart, you’ll discover that it hasn’t saved what you did automatically. It lost another star because of just that. Also, subscription crap, while the desktop is pay once.

Greedy!

Would’ve been okay if it wasn’t that I already spent $60 on PC Manga studio! And now I have to pay for this? Completely terrible to long term customers. Should atleast offer a single payment addon for people with the PC version.
