You will score efficient driving when actually efficient driving according to app is demaging for your diesel engine, eg: very low oil temperature and slow driving is scored efficient and actually is clogging up ur very expensive dpf or egr.

Like AndyS_16 has mentioned since update it doesn’t work as intended And just like AndyS_16 I’m reporting it here, so instead of your standard response, why don’t you pass the message to this bunch of ‘so called experts in programming’ And also does not record fuel top ups To other users - don’t bother with installing at this point, as they will ask you to do a clean install and re-pairing of DataPlug like it’s a fault on your side, where clearly they cocked up with their new update

At first worked lovely, now constant disconnecting resulting in snippets of journeys recorded. Seems to me Audi only concerned with getting a service booked / reminder, from the app and it is an elaborate way to keep customers with main dealer servicing. Overall probably will delete the app, as only interesting features don’t work. Trip tracking does not work for a full journey. Oh but you can earn some points, for what? More hit and miss info?! Cost calculator just a simple calculation that the app can not get right. Easier for me to do in my head with on dash info and knowing price per litre. Audi come on this is not up to your standards, sort it out. Test updates properly, and give your customers something they would be proud to show friends.

Now on my second data plug. App constantly says disconnected at the bottom. The only two features I would find helpful is A)Parking/tracking- this seems to never complete a trip, failed to log my last journey to work, and prior to this reckoned I parked my car in the middle of a motorway.. when it was on my drive outside?! B) Remote locking/Checking doors windows are shut - doesn't even seem to have this functionality? Having come from a 6 year old BMW which had this and worked! This is pathetic..

I previously left a review to say that after struggling with v3.1.3 for a few weeks due to constantly disconnecting and not recording some or all of a journey, I had managed to sort it out after removing the Bluetooth pairing in iOS, removing the data plug from the app, backing up my data, deleting the app from my phone, reinstalling it again, restoring my data and reconnecting the data plug. After doing that, everything has been working faultlessly for months until installing v3.2.1 on 21 Jul 2023. Since that time the connectivity issues have returned. Unfortunately, following all the steps I outline above hasn’t resolved the issues this time, with the app continuing to either not record a journey at all or only part of it, for instance only the first 12 miles of a 67 mile journey this evening ( 27 Jul ). STOP asking people to contact you in the event of issues. SIMPLY LOOK AT ALL THE SAME NEGATIVE REVIEWS YOU’VE BEEN RECEIVING ON HERE FOR MONTHS AND TEST YOUR SOFTWARE OUT PROPERLY BEFORE RELEASING IT TO YOUR FRUSTRATED USERS. I have no intention of contacting you, so please don’t ask me to. Just sort these issues out once and for all and for you to claim on this release that it improves performance and stability is a joke, because this release has done the complete opposite of improving stability !! The app is a joke !!

Stopped working in my S4 after a couple of months. Now asking me to log in, doesn’t accept the stored password in my iPhone, possibly due to all the different odd domains VW / Audi use. Password reset doesn’t work. Enter a new password and hit save: Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid. Unable to use the app at all.

Like the app. I like the way I can record mileage, fuel, tyre wear etc. really like the extra info you get. Down side is it loses me during long drive. My normal drive is 190 miles, I’ll be lucky if it records 50. It also doesn’t give fuel use this always zero. If you could fix these bugs it would be great. I have an open ticket with Audi. Since update it’s losing connect in less than five miles, came to refuel and mileages was 70 miles out.

Has this in my A1 for 12 months. It has only worked on the original installation date, never since. Had a new one fitted today and it still doesn’t work. Not worth spending time on this.
