Verbindungsprobleme und Darkmode
Zu aller erst, die Audiobooks spielen schnell und in guter Qualität ab; keine Probleme hier.
Die App an sich ist nicht zu Bedienerfreundlich und vermisst einige QoL Features der Konkurrenz. Was mich am meisten stört, ist das es keinen Darkmode gibt und die App sehr Weiß gehalten wurde. Dies macht die Bedienung gerade abends / nachts recht unangenehm.
Hauptsächlich höre ich die Audiobooks beim Autofahren. Hier kommt es leider des Öfteren vor, dass beim aussteigen die App meldet, dass sie die Verbindung verloren hat. Dies verhindert dann das speichern des Fortschritts, was natürlich nicht passieren darf…
Zu guter letzt: der Preis pro Monat ist im Gegensatz zur Konkurrenz einfach nicht vertretbar.
„Trickreiche“ App mit versteckten Kosten. Enttäuschend
Man wird mit einem Probeabo geködert und hat damit kaum Titel zur Verfügung. Als ich endlich eine Buchreihe fand und mir den ersten Titel (tatsächlich gratis) innerhalb des Probeabos noch anhören konnte, war es auch schon vorbei mit dem Spaß. Mit dem Klick auf den zweiten Titel wurde ich ohne Vorwarnung oder jegliche Information mit Kosten belastet. Es war nirgendwo von einem Preis oder sonstigem die Rede noch danach gefragt damit man die Chance hätte, den Kauf zu bestätigen oder eben einen Fehler bemerken zu können. Große Enttäuschung und Ärger. Hoffe damit fällt sonst niemand mehr darauf rein. 0 Sterne gabs nicht ..
Einfach und gut
Gute Hörbuch App mit umfangreichen Inhalt vor allem bei mehr bändigen teilen wir z.B. the Seven Sisters
Gute, einfach zu bedienende App
Die App gefällt mir besonders, da sie leicht zu bedienen ist und man immer dort wieder anfängt abzuspielen, wo man zuletzt aufgehört hat, d.h. keine nervigen Sprünge oder Unterkapitel.
Ich wollte einmal in das Lauf-Buch Depression hates a moving target hereinschauen, dafür ist die App gut geeignet, da ich das Buch eher nicht gekauft hätte. Weiterempfehlung

Tolle Zusatzfunktionen
Bin auf der Suche nach den „neueren“ Klassikern der englischen Literatur auf audiobooks.com gestoßen. Gerade höre ich z.B. Lolly Willowes. Die App hat einige praktische Zusatzfunktionen:
- Auch wenn man zwischendurch z.B. am Notebook im Browser weiterhört, kann man zwischen der letzten Abspielposition im Browser oder in der App wählen
- Andere Familienmitglieder können die für die Credits „gekauften“ Hörbücher kostenlos hören wobei jeder seine eigenen Abspielpositionen hat
- Es gibt sicher noch mehr, die ich noch nicht entdeckt habe :-)
Good Player, confusing credit system
Nice Audio player, but the credit system to download books is a bit confusing, not well done through the app. That said, great book choice!
