BabySparks - Development App

This is the type of app I was looking for! I was using Kinedu but I felt overwhelmed by the amount of videos but no daily direction. I love that there is guided activities daily to do with my daughter to make sure she is hitting her milestones. I also love the fact that the app is tailored to your child’s needs. I have a preemie so it accounts for her actual and adjusted age!

I downloaded this and wanted to try out the free version before purchasing it because I already have so many paid subscriptions for baby apps. The ads on the free version are too overwhelming for me and there isn’t enough free content to make it worth it. The first time I opened it all 5 things on the daily program were locked behind a paywall so I couldn’t even get a sample of what I was going to be paying for. I can appreciate that the makers of the app have to make money somehow but it would be nice if there was a free trial even for just a day or two to see what it’s about and test it out before committing or just charging a flat rate for the app. These days I have major subscription fatigue and I’m tired of everything being a monthly rate (it adds up).

I like how this app is available for everyone regardless of if you pay for the subscription or not! I’ve had both and really enjoy the activities you can do at every age because I really didn’t know how to play or spend time with my baby as a new mom. Articles are helpful too and free. I often screenshot to save and send to friends.

Me gusta la app porque así llevas un control de las actividades diarios que haces con tu bebé , lo único que no me gusta que utilizan el móvil para algunas activadas y lo veo contraproducente, por todo lo demás muy bien

Subscribed for the membership but none of the videos play for the different exercises, very disappointed.

I downloaded the app to find fun activities to do but had issues with my password not being accepted. The app didn't tell me my password had an issue, it just didn't let me log in until I changed it to one without a space. You need to add error messages to tell the user whats wrong. Once i finally got in the app, I didn't even get to try it out before before being bombarded with their $10 a month fee for the full app. Every new page i went to, just exploring what the app had to offer, I got an annoying full screen popup wanting my money. When I tried one of daily exercises, there was an ad first and the app didn't even warn me or give me a grace period to try the app first without being annoyed by ads. I am so frustrated by this experience that I don't want to even consider using it. You are prioritizing money over a good UX experience.

I was only able to log in to it once. Now I can’t get on. I’m glad I didn’t purchase the subscription. Will be uninstalling it.
