I used to use Bossjock. Then they split or something, and I use this one. Excellent. Check out my Barbells To Buddhas podcast using this app only.

Backpack Studio has not seen any updates in over a year. Lots of unresolved bugs. It crashes frequently when I’m connected to my IceCast server, and when I try to load a pad from Dropbox. On my M1 Mac, when I go to load a pad, it won’t access the Finder, and Google Drive blocks it because it thinks it’s trying to collecte sensative information from my Google account.

I’ve been podcasting for almost 15 years and I was a big proponent of Bossjock studio. Backpack, the cooler and just better child of Bossjock knocks the old guy off the pedestal. It’s stable, easy to use and powerful as hell Support is amazing Worth every penny.

This has been my go to app when using my phone for podcasting. It is very easy to use and makes my job a lot easier.

This app is in need of updates. Where are you guys. It’s extremely buggy now - Are you going to do something for Apple Vision Pro

User experience is great. This platform can get you podcasting with a quality output in about an hour.

Dear Backpack studio. There is something wrong with this App. I used it easily, seamlessly, and even enjoyably in the past; but now it doesn’t work despite that I paid the subscription! Please, fix / correct any glitches that are affecting it. This App is a great concept and idea ! But right ( January 11, 2024 ) now is useless.

These days, developers are noticing that the high cost of subscription models is deterring their sales. To combat this, many are introducing the option of a one-time purchase. However, Backpack Studio App has not followed this trend; they've phased out their previous version in favor of a mandatory subscription model. I gave it a try for some time but found it wasn't worth the investment. My intent was simply to entertain my social media followers, yet it appears this app is tailored more towards professionals who rely on streaming for income, which is a mere fraction of the market. Most users are essentially wasting money in pursuit of an unattainable goal. The quality of this app was undeniable, which makes it all the more baffling why they would make such an unfavorable decision. It's not just me; many others are discontinuing their use of this app.

I have been using this app for almost 4 years , it was absolutely excellent. Everything I needed to produce my show for Radio and podcasting. Then iOS 17 update happend , now I can not retrieve any of my music , commercials, or use the app at all . Anything I click on it flashes and boots me out . I talked to some from the app via email , they tried to help me to get it to work . It sadly just isn’t working at all , and I have now lost everything I had on the app . I have reset my two iPhones and iPad . Cleared everything I had on all 3 , the app still is flashing and booting me out . I don’t understand why or what happened. If you fix this issue I will most definitely be back and use it again . As of right now I am searching for something similar and going back to an actual hard sound board. I really loved this app and am sad I can not use it .
