Net Status lets you get a fast glimpse of what is happening now with your hosts, routers and other network devices connected to the Internet or LAN.

The tool checks network services your hosts run for availability and presents the information in a convenient way in order to speed up the diagnostics of network problems. With Net Status you can quickly and easily determine which hosts and services are down from your monitoring list.

Net Status employs asynchronous algorithms that allow Net Status to operate really fast. Fractions of a second are needed to check a host with quite a number of running services. Even problematic hosts won't slow down the check process for a time much longer than a timeout you specify.

Works Well

Works well, but when you pause a ping, you're thrown out instead of just pausing. So the pause button is really a stop.

Great little utility

Works great.

Extremely useful app!

This app is perfect for testing ports against my Cisco router access list. The only thing I wish it had was push notifications for when a host goes down/up. Besides that, this app is definitely worth the money! I highly recommend it!

Not really happy with this tool. Need moe than a simple scan of the ISP and result of local IP's

I use it to check my home Internet and wifi status.

DHCP weakness

1. Dynamic addressing can provide a range of IP addresses for your network devices, but attaching a device name to an IP address rather than locking it's association with the MAC can lead to mixups, after DHCP leases expire, and get reassigned. 2. Initially, it would be nice to allow a subnet-wide scan to populate the list of hosts. Even if it is just a subnet scan, or ARP list of visible hosts... A starting point populated by some means, or another would make this app more efficient.
