scam
unbelievable My pass is gone from my account and they charge me so much money , no customer service no answer , the most terrible experience ever. STOP Taking money from my account
Too talll
Too tall for short people and unsafe to ride
Surprise new zones
They moved my house outside the zone. What a trap.
So good and fun to be around
So good and fun to be around
Terrible
The worst scooters I have ridden you have to park in such a small place even if your a centre meter out of the parking zone. They charge a stupid price to ride when it goes slow
You have to pay a dollar just to open the app after that it’s a dollar to unlock the scooter.
I do not recommend riding these scooters
Dodgy app, dodgy gps
App has several problems, which become very annoying if you are relying on Beam for commutes.
The first being that the app often doesn’t acknowledge that you have an internet connection, despite other apps working fine. This means you are delayed leaving.
The second issue is that the app sometimes thinks you are in a no-go zone when you are well beyond the edge of it, resulting in a loss of power and you having to drag the scooter/bike a few hundred metres down the road. You usually need to close the app and restart it for it to refresh.
The third issue is that the app rarely works when unlocking bicycles. Bicycles are faster and more comfortable so you might be inclined to walk a little extra to get to a bike instead of a scooter. But then the unlock just doesn’t work, the app either loading indefinitely or saying it has unlocked the bike without actually having unlocked it. CHARGING YOU FOR MINUTES THAT YOU CANT USE.
Finally the scooters and bikes themselves sometimes lock their wheels at random while you are travelling. Even when you are not near a no-go zone. This is not only frustrating but also dangerous.
