Beeline Bike Navigation

I’m directionally inept and my friend purchased this for me as a bday gift - love it ! East to follow instructions and takes the worry out of navigation so I can focus on safe biking.

Super GPS a utiliser en moto, sa fait 2 ans que je l’utilise pour enregistrer mes rides et j’adore. Depuis un mois j’ai acheté leur GPS (l’écran) et je l’adore! Super le fun et super simple. Le mode boussole quand tu veux juste te promener est excellent. Le seul chose que je peux dire que j’aime moins est peut-être la précision, il base leur GPS sur google maps, alors c’est pas vraiment de leur faute, mais quand tu connais minimalement tes distances, sa va number 1 ! 😎

If ever there was an app that called for access to Contacts, this is it. Nope: you need to manually enter the address to map directions to your contact. Very. T(-.-t) Annoying. Let me store destinations in my address book and use them in the app, please. Please? I have both a Velo2 and a Beeline Moto: the app combines my motorcycle riding wit ph my cycling, which is lame. I also have to constantly unpaid then re-pair the two devices. While cycling, the app has an inexplicable desire to tell me to make left turn onto MAJOR roads (e.g. 4/6 lane downtown roads) at spots with no traffic light, even when I choose “balanced” routing. Half way through a ride and change your mind or want to add a new stop? Nope: end your ride, pick a new destination. Looks like you went for multiple rides. I generally use the directions as a guide only, frequently choosing safer routes and forcing it to re-route. I WANT to like this a lot more than I do in reality, and honestly….I realized tonight that I’d left my Velo2 on my bike and I think if someone had stolen it I’d be at best mildly annoyed (there are hardware issues as well, but I won’t go into those here.)

All good but the yards before a turn seem off by often more than 20 meters. This causes confusion. Should I turn or should I head for the next turn? Over time I’ll get used to this but…

I always had the complaints of the bike routing doesn’t stick to road while i ride roadbike. Surprised to find that this just got addressed :) Another recommendation i have is making a out front bike mount like garmins, it will look better and more secured

Such a great and reliable app. Has quickly become my go to app for cycling, especially for pre-mapping new routes. Love the auto-start/stop and Strava export.

Great addition to now be able to record your ride but it would be great if the Beeline unit also showed distance travelled/journey time whilst recording.

This feature is said to be included in the latest release. How do we enable it? I do not yet see ride info without first having to set a route. Beeline??

L’application de façon générale fonctionne assez bien. Cependant, Suite à l’achat j’ai installé le plus récent Firmware sur le GPS et version de l’App OSX. Or à la configuration d’une destination près de Montréal et l’activation de la route le module Beeline se met à pointer dans tous les sens. Lorsqu’il fonctionne de façon sporadique il est imprécis de façon importante sur les distances de plusieurs centaines de mètres. Un peu déçu de ne pas trouver de support sur ces éléments dans le site Web. L’expérience client est décevante dans les premières utilisations… j’espère pouvoir identifier la source du problème sinon j’envisage un retour de l’appareil. Michael
