Finding frustrating at the moment. Sometimes works well and sometimes doesn’t work at all. Can’t rely on it at present.
Been using the Beeline moto for over a year now. I use to plan rides and record a journey. The biggest selling point for me is its simplicity - I’m doing the NC 500 - I load in all my waypoint and set off - if I see something I like and go in a different direction - Beeline just points me in the right direction to get me back on track after my mini adventure. Also great for importing GPX data. The only thing missing is a shared destination feature - for group riding // not tracking just shared routes that update if the destination or waypoints change then all sharing get updated automatically - so you can see where you need to be without having to listen to intercom chatter. Great product - great battery life - great app.
Using for motorcycle, without the beeline device. Only problem - I can’t fathom why it doesn’t support landscape view for navigation. This is the only way I can really mount my phone on my motorbike. I like the route planning with points, although sometimes you have to add a lot of points else it will pick a strange route. Would be nice if it had premium features similar to other apps like stats on lean angle, and crash detection.
Much needed. Thanks. Now need a trade in option for moto1 to Moto2 please.
The beeline Velo 2 , the routing options on the app and my ebike means I can use my ebike to get to places I would have previously driven to and get there without running down my phone battery navigating. I can use the routing to keep me off busy streets as well making it more likely I will ride as opposed to drive.
Love this product. Could you please develop “landscape” option when navigating on phone app please
I can't count the number of times this product put me in a dangerous situation. I've never had a ride without miscalculations and even showing wrong exit number at a roundabout. I'm going to stick to phone and quadlock
I’ve had V1 since it came out. It gradually improved mainly due to improvements with the app. The app still does not give you the shortest route option though after many years of complaining about it. Now V2 of the hardware is here. It looks ok, but they have now introduced a subscription model for some things. No thanks. I can have bang up to date google maps that provides everything for free, works better and for the same price as V2, I can buy a display that provides apple CarPlay or the google equivalent.
I have held the power button down, restart the device with the cloud showing over 10 times confirmed no Bluetooth connection exist in Bluetooth settings at the phone and on the app brand new out the box will not allow the device to update. This device is now as a plastic puc😥
