Find your beer

It is as easy as it gets. Just scan the label of the beer and the app leads you directly to the right beer so you get all the important infos. Draft beers or beers without label can be easily found too in our beer search. If you are able to find a beer that is not yet registered, feel free to request the beer and we will add it to the database.

Rate your beer

Our rating system is one of the most important tools of the BeerTasting.App. It is fast and easy to handle and gives you and the beer community great input about the beer you are tasting. The ratings are saved in your profile and you will never forget a good beer again. It is also a great help when you are not sure which beer to buy or drink no matter whether you are in a supermarket, online-shop, restaurant, bar… Find out in just a few seconds which beer is best!

Get insights and infos about beers, breweries, ratings, reviews and news all around the beer world. With a quick scan you will know nearly everything of your beer of choice. Scroll the news, breweries or activity feed to keep up to date. The reviews written by the users are also a great way to find out which beer to drink next.

Works great

I just downloaded it from Apple. It asks to use the bar code right off. It grabbed my first request Kauzle can and it all came back in English except for reviews in German. One of 24 in a Costco gift box. Lots of great info

Excellent!

Wonderful app. Amazing catalog of beers and great reviewer options.

Bad app

The concept was exciting but the app is very very broken. I couldn’t get the QR code on the box to work and then the links in the app didn’t work. The text is overlaying itself and nothing is accessible. The buttons simply don’t work. With a little TLC, this could be an awesome app.

App is better

Finding it much easier to use this year with beer advent calendar. Beers that QRcode still have to use UPC but once you get use to that not a big issue. Most reviews are in German so would be nice to have translate feature. I can’t even find a way to cut and paste into something like Google translate

Pairs great with advent beer calendar

I’m enjoying the current state of this app and how it pairs with the beers from the advent calendar. I scan the can, get info on the beer, and there’s a nice video discussion that each end with a unique song. Good continuous efforts to improve this app!

Not bad but could use some work

Love it for the information it gives me about all the beers. Would like it to show me what all beers my friends have tried. Kinda of silly to follow someone and have no idea what beer they have and how the rated it.

2023 - No issues

Whatever the bad reviews are from must be way in the past. The app is actually really good for the Costco Beer Advent calendar. Lots of information, reviews, pictures, etc. it’s all well put together

Dec 2022 Update

I got the beer advent calendar and saw this app linked to it on the box. I read all the app reviews and prepared myself for immense frustration and to delete it the next day. To my surprise, everything works fine! They must have fixed the 2021 issues. Or maybe it’s OS related - I’m on an iPhone 11. Anyway, no complaints here. Not an overly impressive app, but it definitely serves its purpose effectively without issue. Camera works to scan barcode, ratings work, social feed works. All seems fine to me!

App works

All the reviews say the app doesn’t work - I think it didn’t before but everything works fine now. I use it for my beer calendar.
