Exceeds Expectations
I heard this was a high class resort, and I found everything about it lived up to its reputation. Large well appointed villas, with everything laid out perfectly. Super friendly staff, great food, and a spectacular setting. Water, trees, landscaping, modern facilities and excellent service from everyone. Room service was well done and arrived aexactly at the requested time. No 1/2 hour window. I had a very good massage, but the spa facilities are limited. Other than that, all else is great as is. I hope to return in the future.
Review of stay at El Encanto.
I loved the grounds and the staff was wonderful…everyone was respectful and friendly. My only complaint is the room. We were told that our room was one step from a suite. Naturally, we expected something absolutely beautiful. We’ve traveled the world, and NEVER have we paid so much for a room, that wasn’t much different from a”nice” room. Thank goodness the grounds and staff were so good.

Belmont has replaced personal service with an app.
Sub- par room
The standard king room on the 7th floor club area is a let down given the premium pricing.
It barely compares with a standard normal king room at a normal hotel and the added club privileges do not add up to the difference. Bathroom is small and doesn’t compare with my # 2 bath I have at home.
Our view of an empty parking garage is less than appealing.
Would not book this again.
Lesson learned and not a great start to our 1st visit to Charleston.
Sierra Nevada
I spent 3 amazing nights at The Sierra Nevada Parque(San Miguel)! If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would! The service was flawless, rooms were spacious and well appointed and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Way to go Belmond Hotels! I will be back!!
USER INTUITIVE!
An amazing application which is super user intuitive and gets the job done every single time! A must have if you're traveling within the Belmond Collection!
App not up to date for I pads, can only be viewed vertical and not horizontal on the I pad.
App is not friendly with I pad use and will not rotate into the horizontal view when it opens so the I pad must be used in the vertical mode, so a key board cannot be use. Very old fashion and out of date.
