Disappointed

ABSOZ14 on

Australia

We have been using Belong for over four years. Internet reception is slowed down during midday and evening! 🔥🔥 I was $45 mobile plan plus $5 (calls and texts to 30 destinations), and with my partner's $19 mobile plan, we shared data. Do you know?! The basic mobile plan was $15 for 5GB/month. 🙄🙄 New plan and data - $21 Mobile Plan 7GB/month Current plan and data - $19 Mobile Plan 5GB/month. Seriously we don't need it! Bye 👋👋

Wildly frustrating

RPC55 on

Australia

Such a amazingly bad company for so many reasons, from the inability to properly move the internet, to the lack of customer service, to the fact that they do not update their nbn coverage frequently enough that when I called to check back they though the nbn was down (they hadn’t updated in over 24hrs) Go else where, spend your money better

belong record all support contact calls

Charlotte Rose D on

Australia

When I called Belong for support I was given the option to opt out of the call to be recorded. (I understand it’s my consumer right). Belong support service staff didn’t not have the ability to not or stop record our conversation unless I give all my personal details for ‘authentication’. There response was to me back without the option for me to not ‘opt out’ to be recorded (this call was still received). I’m just curious as to why they state it as a consumer option to opt out of a recording with out the consumer giving over many personal details? Additionally the internet bill goes up about $5 a year; it’s now one of the most expensive services.

Appalling App

martha and me on

Australia

It here are 5 steps to open app. Email address, pin, emailed six digit number, self generated pin - twice. And along the way, you have the opportunity to action face and finger recognition which are not recognised at future attempts to log in. And when you manage to access the app, actions are not activated. Appalling.

Terrible web app. No realistic option top up

SomeGuyNearby on

Australia

The app itself is a bad web app. It takes forever just to see your data balance. It’s also not possible to top up your balance, you must buy a new SIM card each time. Have gone through 4 data SIM cards for data as I wait for my nbn to be connected. If you buy 400gb SIM card you get 400gb for $70. But the only top up option is 5GB for $10. If you want any more than 5GB (what is even 5GB in 2024?!) you need to throw out the old sim, cancel the service and buy another sim for $70 which comes with 400GB. How are they claiming they are carbon neutral when I need to drive to the shop and buy a new SIM card in its packaging and throw the old one in the bin each time I want to top up?!

BEST APP SO FAR

Sasrkazm on

Australia

I’ve been with Optus Telstra Vodafone Boost and many more companies. This App works perfectly well easy to navigate and so simple to use. Ordering online was a piece of cake. I’ve never had an easier time in my life setting up a new phone plan or wifi internet. Some of these 1 star reviews might have been a long time ago and should download their app again. Also the data usage I get 100GB and not paying much more than I was before but getting 5x more data to use with better service coverage and 5g Thank you Belong

Useless

FinFitBruce on

Australia

Every time you go to use the app, it needs updating so some usless Melbourne idiot can keep their job Then you have to login again Then you have to setup a key code, every time Then it asks you about biometrics Then it asks you if you the app and to please rate 1 star, I’d give it zero if possible I just wanted to quickly check how much data I had left, which is now a 15 minute affair every single time Whomever made this app, you’re a complete c***

Much better with native Face ID

Inactive Cargo on

Australia

The app itself is fine, but it was always a chore logging in via passkey. Now you can authenticate natively with Face ID it’s so much quicker to check your data balance and do whatever else you want to do.
