Doesn’t work with a 5ghz band which most standard WiFi modem are now.

Christmas lights
Got this to make life easier with turning on and off the Christmas lights, and was so easy to set up, lots of options on the app.

When I get them connected to my network they are fantastic
Worked fine out of the box until i updated to latest version.
Before i updated the app worked perfectly, now there is several second delay on the on/off button. Works instantly on the device itself but the UI power button is slow to update.

App blotchy and doesn’t work with Alexa
Bought this primarily because it is supposed to work with Alexa & is no longer compatible Also it constantly drops wi if and is not simple to rejoin to the network. I cannot join it as a subdevice as no other devices and cannot add it as a smart device to either Alexa or my mesh or to Tapo V disappointed
