Bought this primarily because it is supposed to work with Alexa & is no longer compatible Also it constantly drops wi if and is not simple to rejoin to the network. I cannot join it as a subdevice as no other devices and cannot add it as a smart device to either Alexa or my mesh or to Tapo V disappointed

No stars unfortunately. Wasted 2 hours of my life trying to connect this adapter to my Wifi (very recent Virgin 5GHz/ 2.4GHz system). Just refuses to connect though I tried all the suggested methods.

Just set it up, the timer function is giving unknown error and I tried many different options but no luck with it not sure if it is related to the firmware update

Please add light switches

Works to perfection. Easy use, and the house is warm when I return. It can be set on a timer or manually switched on and off.

Simple to install. Bought to get an appliance on at cheap rate electricity at 2am and the timer function is perfect for that. Can’t understand the poor reviews here it does exactly what it says it should. Great product and half the price I’d have to pay if I’d bought a smart plug for my Hive system. Good value.

My plug will not work. It won’t connect to the internet, I would not recommend

Avoid, Avoid!!! Very unstable connection & setting up is totally hit and miss. Pile of ordure.

Great app , only think I don’t like is couple of times when update happens. I have to login to app again

It did take 2 attempts to connect the app my device but after that everything was very smooth and easy to use. The Random schedule is also a nice feature.
