Ads are Disgraceful
Is nothing sacred? Are there no limits to monetization? There should not be ads on a Bible app. I have used this app for years and I am now deleting it because of the intrusive and offensive ads. The publisher should be ashamed.

Doesn’t work
After numerous attempts to get through the website version without being bombarded by ads or things that don’t work, I thought I’d try your app. All I see is a white screen. That’s not helpful.
Too much advertisement & Buggy too
When you open, you wait for the full length of the advertisement Buddy product Works like a commercial product, not a Bible research tool Copy and Paste does not have individual verses printed - I think you have to pay to play the way you want it
Not dependable
The app is not dependable. Since downloading it it’s not worked more than it has worked. I was drawn by the resources and was willing to pay for a subscription but I prefer Bible apps I can depend on.
Good if working right
I love this app except for the search function. Used to work right. Do a word search of entire Bible but won’t show all the results. Usually only Old Testament. Worthy of 5 stars if you will get the functions working right.
App isn’t working. Support team does not answer.
I paid full subscription and Bible cometary isn’t loading. I get partial but not the full I reached out for help via email and no one has yet to reach back to me. 2/22/2024 when I wrote this. Will keep this up or update whenever they reach out. 2/27/2024 still no one reached out to me but I kept trying different things in the app. Until it occurred to me to completely delete the app and all my data in it and reinstall it, and worked. I now have full access to Bible cometary. I also have to mention I changed from 1 star to 4. Is frustrating but u figured this info can help someone out there. 4/7/2024 went back to one star because app still not working. I mentioned before I would completely delete and reinstalled app and that’s how I was able to use it, but now is not doing anything. Again: no one has reached out to me. On this day I submitted my email address and description of problem. Doubt anyone will reach out but gotta try. I’m a paid subscriber btw. 7/12/2024, same issues/problems, no one has reached out, no help.
Too many bugs
I would really like to give this app 5 stars; it has so many good features. But there are too many bugs. More often than not, I get a blank screen when I try to open a passage in the app. Then, about half the time, I can’t get the audio to play.
Please fix the Bible search function!!!
I’m a paying customer (Bible Gateway Plus subscriber). The web version is great. But the iOS version needs help! 1) When I attempt to search the Bible, the App sometimes is frozen with a white page. 2) If I want to see resources for a verse, say John 3:16, I have to open up each Study Bible or Commentary and then search John 3:16 in each of those resources EACH TIME. Overall, a terribly clunky experience. (Don’t get me started about the full page ad. I’m already a paying customer).
Super buggy
I used to be able to read in your Bible Gateway app, in the Bible itself, and go the next day and it was right where I had left off from the day before. Not so anymore. Now I read, and I come back and can’t even read until I go pick the version I’m using again, and even then I have to find my place again. Please do something about this. It’s ridiculous!

Ok come on, please stop with the prostate ads on a Bible app… opening up this app in church and having to wait to exit the prostate app is quite embarrassing 😳 😂 otherwise I would have rated higher
