The app will not open. It keeps saying there is a connection problem, for me to check my internet but my internet works just fine.
Not what it used to be.
4-7 years ago bitesquad was my go to for restaurant delivery. Their uniformed drivers, attention to detail, accuracy, use of insulated food bags made them standout against the competition. They also had the most Restaurants on their platform with a lot of unique local options. The company I worked for used them extensively for corporate catering functions as they were reliable for large orders with great accuracy. It was also nice to be able talk to a rep in person regarding our orders. Fast forward today and all that was good with them is out the window. Inaccurate orders if the order even arrives!! Cancellations are frequent. Long wait times, cold food bought by drivers in street clothes who make no effort to check that the order is correct. Almost impossible to get ahold of a real person when something goes wrong. I recently found out that they don’t even have their own drivers. You order from their App or website and they forward the order to Ubereats and they deliver it. Crazy!! You order from a 3rd party delivery service only to have them forward your order to another 3rd party. Save your money and hassle and just order directly through Ubereats. Bitesquad used to be the best delivery service now they are the absolute worst and likely most expensive delivery service.
Orders never arrive and refunds are difficult to get
I’m never ordering from them again. The customer service is awful. Orders are marked delivered but never show up.
Terrible
App is awful. Drivers never came to my place. When I talked so someone on the app about it they gave me credits so I can order again for free. I ordered and nothing happened for 2 hours. Now I can’t even ask for help so I lost more money.
Worse service
Ordered food while at work and waited. They tried to call while I was working to figure out my location. They guy was in the parking lot but wasn’t smart enough to find the address numbers. Certainly was to difficult to get out and ask. Kept my food and refused a refund. I hope their employee thief enjoyed my meal. Thus is why people don’t want to tip on food apps. Y’all keep the food and the tip for no work! Great gig job.
Horrible
Tried using it for the first time and delivery never showed up on top of being two hours late. Tried to call customer service over it and got told they got proof of delivery, upon asking for it they hung up. Second time yet again it said it was delivered but nothing showed up. Talked with customer service then got told they couldn’t refund it cause of “previous account history.”. Like what history, not delivering what I paid for? Strongly recommend using something else.
Worst/ most cumbersome food delivery app
Had the worst and most frustrating food delivery app experience ordering through bite squad. Very not user friendly. Firstly, order wasn’t even recognized as even existing on the app. Could not efficiently update the driver to an error in delivery instructions, which admittedly is my fault but I have accidentally done this in the past on other platforms and have been able to rectify the error and still receive my order. However, upon trying to use the chat support function which was cumbersome and took time getting connected to a support person and by the time all the intake was done was told I was too late to change anything because the driver was already at my address. Not only did I not receive my order but was told I would still be charged the full amount.
Terrible
Bad in the state I live. Hawaii. Takes over 30 minutes of review to then simply cancel it. I remember now why I stop using it. Deleting it for sure. Other apps are more reliable.
Horrible customer service
Do not use Bite Squad if you actually want to get your food. We have tried multiple times. Once, they just never picked up our food from the restaurant and we couldn’t get ahold of them until the next day to get a refund. Another time, they said our order was delivered when it wasn’t, and when we contacted customer service they said it was cancelled for road closures, which there were none around here and I saw her on the map a road away from here. Another time it was over an hour late. They apologize and will give you a $5 credit but that doesn’t come close to making up for the inconvenience of not having food delivered when by the time you know you’re not getting food, it’s too late to get anything else because the kids are in bed and you can’t leave the house….
