After looking for several SSH Tools I bumped into Blink. Although hesitated to purchase because of the price ... but after playing with mosh on my workstations decided to take the step for purchase. And guess what.. I really don’t understand why I didn’t purchased it earlier, this tool was the missing piece on my iPhone! Keep the good work, I’m really happy with it.
The price of this app has kept me back for a long time to buy it. However, after trying many different ssh/terminal apps and after reading some reviews I finally hit the buy button. Only to find out that I have waited way too long to buy this incredible app. This is like having an xterm with a working shell in your pocket that makes it possible to ssh/mosh into your machines. When using an external KB all of the screen-estate is dedicated to the terminal. Combined with mosh you are always connected to your machine, even when you close and reopen the app. Awesome! This is a must have app!
Ik schrijf deze review nadat ik net zowat van mijn stoel viel van verbazing omdat de verbinding met een Raspberry Pi *NIET* verbroken was ondanks dat ik mijn iPad hard had gereset. Daarnaast is Blink gericht op work flow en je kan alles lekker vlot doen, alles werkt via het toetsenbord, meerdere schermen over, je kan zelf je muziek afspelen via de app zodat je niet hoeft te switchen naar een muziek app. Nee, het is niet goedkoop maar dit is één van die must-have apps voor iedereen die vaak met terminal-verbindingen werkt.
Be aware, your public key authentication can be broken after the latest update. This is the second time this year, I had to change my authorized_keys on all servers to be able to work again. If you manage to login, it is a great tool though.
This terminal is really good!! Glad that the external display support is better now. I do really miss 3 things though: - Proper file transfer support. (SFTP client perhaps?) - Port forwarding for SSH sessions. - Eternal Terminal support. I don't use Mosh anymore, because of certain limitations of Mosh. At the moment I only use SSH + Tmux, but Eternal Terminal could change that for sure!!!
Simpelweg de beste terminal app die je kunt vinden. Ik gebruik Blink voor alles, letterlijk. Topper!
