BlitzortungLive is an Application for monitoring Lightning-Strikes at nearly realtime.
BlitzortungLive can be used for watching and monitoring Thunderstorms. The Lightning-Strikes are displayed nearly in realtime on the Map.
Features:
- Live display of Lightning-Strikes
- older Strikes are displayed as colored dots on the Map
- Push Alarm if Lightning-Strikes are detected in a customizable area.
- Language support for English, German, French, Spain and Russian
The App Blitzortung-Live is an additional service to the main project Blitzortung.org (http://www.blitzortung.org).

Great app for up to date information on Lightning! Highly recommend it👍
Good app
App is very good, but the data is a bit slow to load. Great to see where the lightning is and if fairly accurate.
👍
Bin oft outdoor unterwegs und schätze die genaue Blitzortung. Somit kann man beruhigt weiterlaufen oder Schutz suchen.
Gute Idee
Funktioniert leider bei weitem nicht so gut wie die Webseite
Funktioniert nicht. Zeitverschwendung.
Diese App ist unnütz. Im Norden von RLP, Süden von NW und Westen von Hessen funktioniert sie nicht.

Interessant
Netto App, um zu sehen, wo es gerade kracht. Wie präzise und zeitnah sie funktioniert, konnte ich bisher leider noch nicht herausfinden. leider startet die App manchmal gar nicht oder? Nur sehr langsam, deswegen einen Stern Abzug.
Tut was sie soll
Wirkt zwar eher sehr rudimentär, aber funktioniert zuverlässig und erfüllt so voll ihren Zweck.
Es war mal.
Es war mal eine tolle App. Nicht mehr benutzbar. Blitze werden nicht Live angezeigt. Aktualisierung der Blitze findet so gut wie nicht statt. Ehlend langsam. Schade schade.
