Bloomberg Connects

Have used for exhibitions at the National Portrait Gallery London and the Dulwich Picture Gallery. Highly recommended. Just need to remember to take my ear phones.

The audio content is my favourite, really insightful stuff, I just wish there was more of it!

Used it at the Wallace collection. So informative

App ok for giving you an online map of layout but other than that useless. I really wanted to use the lookup facility to find out about each exhibit, only to discover there are no labels in the exhibition to use with the app. Asked a member of staff who said don’t use it- it won’t work. This despite the fact I downloaded from a QR code on a leaflet in the cafe area of the collection. Shame as in principle it would be really helpful

I love Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I hoped this app would provide an interactive map which nearly happened, but it was unstable, at times would only open a single random information screen for all icons selected, kept crashing out, eventually lost the map altogether. Information was good where/if accessed, but didn’t add too much to where there were already info boards. Best to use and recycle the paper maps available outside the shop.

Like other reviews on here, I downloaded this to navigate our way around Yorkshire Sculpture Park. But every time I left the app (for example, to photograph a sculpture), I was returned to the main screen. I then had to navigate back to the guide each time. For what it’s worth, when I was using the guide, it was really useful and full of interesting information about the art. However, I suspect this has nothing to do with the app developers, and more to do with the efforts of the sculpture park. So, this needs work. If I didn’t have to continuously work my way back to where I wanted to be it would get a better review. But in truth, I stopped using it after an hour and didn’t bother with it again.

Downloaded this app to plan a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The park is quite a large outdoor park and I wanted to look at the maps to plan which artworks to see. The only part of the app that worked was the part that allowed us to book tickets. None of the maps worked and the guide wouldn’t download. Bit pointless really

I found the app to be unusable. The interface is very confusing. I wanted to use it at the Wallace Collection but it didn’t show up on the first screen. I then found as part of a series (Art something?) but couldn’t see anything there except some general venue info.

I have been trying to get Yorkshire sculpture park for 15 mins. App is dreadful. Still haven’t got it.
