Crash’s on startup does not work any more :(

Why it stop working.

Garbage

ptaghavi on

This app is garbage. Don’t waste your time and money. It is nothing similar to their PC app. Very disappointed

Please fix your broken app

Denny from Mobia on

I use this daily for fieldwork. Crashes alllll the time. Atleast once per hour if not more. Seems like the bigger the pdf the more laggy it is. Errors with memory are frequent. Sometimes when you try to move a text box or any other item it disappears signalling problems. When saving at this point I sometimes get “insufficient memory to continue execution of program” which leads to corrupted, blank files and many many hours of hard work lost. Only workaround is saving backups. Confirmed its not a hardware issue. Not sure why my comoamy chose this garbage app

Only for viewing

I got the iPad Air 5 and the pencil 2nd generation and it doesn’t detect the pen because it detect my hand at the same time so it make 2 lines. The studio, I can’t reorder the files by dates, only by name.

Outdated and more like a toy than a useful app. Do not buy

SukhyMahal on

Developers need to change this so people can try the app before buying. A trial period really would have helped me understand that this app is basically useless for what revu actually is. First, listen to the others…. Don’t download this. It’s a waste of time and money. Using my iPad in the field has sped up a lot of things for me as a surveyor/SUE tech. However, the revu iPad app has tripled the amount of time it takes me to edit topos to add utility lines or make notes. This app is not ready for work. It has been on the market for 4 years, and after using it for 30 minutes I understand why everyone has left bad reviews. I was really hoping they just weren’t using it correctly or couldn’t switch from pc to iPad mode. It seems to be true that Bluebeam does not care for their mobile apps as even though there have been recent "updates" for iOS 15, nothing has actually changed for the app. It still looks like it was made for an iPad mini, and other than looking similar to the desktop app, it isn’t really usable. 1. Please add onedrive connection so I can use it like I do the desktop app. 2. Please update the UI for bigger iPads. 3. Please rework how lines are created and how symbols are added. It’s good enough on the desktop app, but almost useless here. I really wanted to love this app and use it as I use the desktop revu daily (it is the main app I use for work even though it also seems dated) but It’s impossible. Other than being able to tell people you have revu on your iPad, it’s useless. On my HP laptop, the revu app is priceless. I love using it and being able to connect to onedrive is one of my favorite parts of it. I hope they add being able to simultaneously edit project files with teams so as to not create duplicates of a file when 2 people unknowingly work on them at the same time.

Doesn’t support .bex files (Bluebeam Sets)

ElevenExemplary on

I genuinely cannot do anything but just laugh at the fact that the Bluebeam iPad app I just paid 15 bucks for can’t even open and support their own native .bex files 🤣🤣. You can’t view sets on this app, it’s just a glorified PDF viewer.

Has potential, but currently a waste of money

Lame13 on

Purchased this app so I could complete PDF markups while on site visits for work. I use Bluebeam in the office and figured I would spend the $15 to have a simplified version in the field. There are enough features but the user interface is somewhat lacking. Unfortunately the largest issue is that the app seems to run non-native on my iPad Pro, appears to glitch out every few seconds and be unresponsive to input. The app doesn’t even fill the screen completely to the edges… Not something I would ever feel comfortable using in a professional setting. I feel ripped off and wish I could get my money back. I feel as though 95% of free apps run smoother than this expensive one. Please please please fix these issues with an update. It could be very useful if these issues were fixed, without the update I would not recommended to anyone.

No app support

JB3141592654 on

Tried app support link, received error 404. No SharePoint Online integration. People have high expectations after using the PC version, and this iOS version does not meet the mark. I wouldn’t expect all of the PC features on the iPad but the Bluebeam team can do better than this.

Don’t depend on this, have paper backup

sm&sons on

In the field I’ve had this crash on me and fail to connect. Not after using it I cannot log in to Studio.

Great app, needs a refresh to match PC version.

cferreira02 on

I’d pay again if a proper refresh is developed to match the desktop PC version. Recommend Bluebeam Revu to everyone.
