Bolt Driver: Drive & Earn

A customer just jumped out the car and didn’t pay. Bolt helpdesk said its my problem if that happend and didn’t help me at all. You cant turn off cash payments. And paying commission back is also not easy like a button away. Thats why i quit this company.

It’s says here higher earnings, but in The Netherlands Bolt is cheaper for the customer then Uber and! is the commission higher. Therefore Bolt (as driver) is no longer interesting.

Dear Bolt Support Team, I hope this message finds you well. and I have been working as a dedicated Bolt driver, committing over 12 hours each day to provide reliable service to our customers. However, I recently faced an issue that left me feeling deeply undervalued and exploited as a driver. Last night, I received a ride request that was 14 kilometers away from my current location. Despite the significant distance, I accepted the ride and followed the navigation instructions to reach the customer. Just 2 minutes away from the pickup location, the customer called me and requested that I come to the front of their building. I politely agreed, even though this added another 5 minutes to my journey. When I arrived at the designated spot, to my frustration, the customer **canceled the ride**. Not only did this waste my time and effort, but I also incurred expenses such as fuel for the long trip to their location, without receiving any form of compensation for the cancellation. This experience has left me feeling used and unappreciated. It seems that the current system does not adequately protect drivers from situations where customers act irresponsibly. I understand cancellations are sometimes unavoidable, but when a driver has already invested significant time and resources to fulfill a request, there should be measures in place to ensure fair treatment and compensation. I urge the Bolt support team to address this matter promptly and provide a solution that respects the hard work of drivers like me. Whether it's implementing a **fair cancellation fee policy** or compensating drivers for their time and distance traveled, action is needed to prevent such incidents from demoralizing drivers and impacting the quality of service. I don’t trust that Bolt values its drivers as much as its customers. Thank you for your attention.

The way how the Pick up distance appears is so ugly and difficult to find. It was way more easier before I hope you make it again as it was 😞
