This app does everything I was looking for. An easy way to listen to my audio books without having to see the tracks in my music player. It took a few minutes to set up the way I like it (always 1.2 speed) but it’s perfect. Only other recommendation I would like later if possible, is AirPlay and/or chromecast support But seriously. This is the app you want.
It’s free and no ads.
Overall it’s been a 9.7/10, the functionality is great but the ui needs work
Works well to listen to your own audiobooks in supported formats and supports cloud storage for input. The cloud import can be finicky. Sometimes the app won’t continue playing and requires closing and reopening
One of the few apps that I literally have no complaints about. It just works and has all the features that one would want and some that one might naught even think of. I use it everyday and is amazing. It’s the first app that’s free that I feel obligated to send a tip to; simply because I’ve been using BookPlayer for free for so long with absolutely not a single complaint or a feature that I need, want and don’t have or even a feature that I could think of that’s not there. It’s also intuitive and user friendly. I just had to give a review and tip. This should be standard on all iPhones just like other apps are. It just works.
I listen to hours long WAV and MP3 files, so this app comes in hand when I want to bookmark certain points on a 1-4 hour audio files.
Just what I needed for listening to my audiobook collection in a convenient, easy way.
This is a great app, but there needs to be some way to add in the author’s name when you edit the details. If the author metadata is present in the file, it automatically uploads it, but if not then you have to either add the authors name into the title bar, or just not have the authors name at all. It doesn’t look cohesive. Please make it possible for users to manually insert the author bar on the details page.
I was excited to see that it supports Apple Watch and iCloud sync, and I would have gladly paid to buy this app, but I won’t pay a subscription of $50 a year for that feature. I’ll keep using Bound instaed.
