Number of bikes at each location

App should tell you how many bikes are at each location. We wanted to rent two bikes, but each location seem to only have one, so we didn't rent any

Don’t bother

I tried to get set up over several days. App is buggy, customer support unavailable, and when I did get a human in the phone, they did not follow up. Too bad.

Difficult

It would be hard to find a more difficult app to use. A minimal of help and instruction and altogether too much prying information requested.

Can’t return bike because of their error so still being charged

I can’t return the bike because the location is full so still being charged until someone hires another bike. Totally ridiculous

Same sad story as the rest

App is buggy and won’t let me sign up / finish verification…

Verification is not quick

I hope to change this review, but I thought I’d be able to rent the bike quickly. Instead, I’m waiting for my identity to be verified. The help phone line isn’t open on the weekend. My first email inquiry says it may take five days to reply and referred me to a faster way … that tells me it may take three days to receive a reply. Again, I’ll update with a happier review if my identity gets verified soon!

Can’t sign up with a U.S. phone number

I can’t sign up with a U.S. phone number. Gives me a Canada number.

Terrible app, promising service

Endless useless and cryptic error messages. Charged my card multiple times without actually allowing me to set up an account. I had to go to the website to creat my account only to be told they must call me to complete the process. Wish the app could have told me that!

Great Bikes, Crap App

For almost each step through registration, I had to call in and get someone to actually do what was required. Otherwise I was stymied by constant error messages, of which my favorite was “the state had to be a number”.

How to turn off auto renewal

Under the right circumstances Brompton Bikes is a very useful service. If you don’t want to auto renew your membership go to Account Settings -> Profile, and un-tick the box
