Can’t access a fax confirmation page without physically printing one? Am I missing something?

AirPrint it does not!

Simple brother printer. We use a version of this at work and it works. Takes a beating in a dirty environment. So I got one for home. Printer has no problem turning on and printing its own self test pages, but no luck on any air print pages. So I download native Brother app (even with low rating). Wow! A whole app to just print?! Both computers and iPhones can connect to printer and show status, but not print. App does exactly the same - connects on setup, but every print shows “cannot connect to printer” Really debating on returning the printer and deleting app

iPhone difficulties remain

Better to purchase forward thinking printers that work with iphone

Needs better iOS integration

This app really needs to have functionality so it gets added to the iOS share sheet. I should be able to go to share in Safari and send a site directly to the app, for example. Seems like such a simple thing that other vendors have figured out that still eludes Brother.

Worse than 30 years ago

Brother has a printer setup that is literally more difficult and less successful than printers 30 years ago. The printer is connected to network but the devices on the same network can’t connect to printer. The find it but it shows as not connected. The wait time for phone support is over an hour.

Power Up my Printer….

Why can’t this app power up my HL-L3270CDW? Can’t my ALWAYS ON Bluetooth network service facilitate this device behavior? My printer is ALWAYS hibernating! When I want to print, why can’t the device automatically awaken to receive, process & print these jobs? This can be a v. 7.0 application feature….

I love my brother printer and up until recently it’s been fine. Now it won’t print anything because it says it’s busy. Even trying after days. The app shows me NO PRINTER STATUS. I have no way to cancel all print jobs, nothing. I’m honestly confused as to why we have an app when it does not give information about the printer. Please fix this.

Do not buy the brother printer!

Unhappy customer1123 on

I never give reviews, but I felt so strongly about this printer/scanner that I wanted to save someone else from the frustration I have experienced over the past few days trying to figure out if there was a glitch or not and they printing process, printing from an iPhone. I paid over $700, thinking if I paid more, I would get better quality. Their iPhone print and scan app is not very compatible with the printer! You have to physically go into the printer, each time to tell it whether you want it to be letter or legal. That is insane! That defeats the whole purpose of printing from your iPhone. I have had many printers over time and every single one of them would allow you to print from your iPhone and you could select from your iPhone what size paper you wanted to print it on. Had I known this, I would not have brought this printer. Had I not thrown the box away I would be returning this printer! I called Customer Service and her only response was, it’s because you’re printing for your iPhone and that’s the way it works. I am so very disappointed in the poor app that was created to complement the brother printer. Unhappy customer!
