Tried to use it in Montenegro but the network was really slow. I compared it with Airalo, which worked really well. Also the user experience of the app is really buggy

Cheaper than airalo in Vietnam, but I had really slow network. The data plan at airalo with the same carrier (viettel) was much faster. More then sending text messages is not really possible with bytesim.

Man kann zwar einen Kauf tätigen (den man genauso gut auf der Website hätte erledigen können). Er wird aber nie angezeigt, kann also die eSIM nicht mehr verwalten.

Bought an eSIM for Japan and chose the 1GB per day plan. It worked well for the first 2-3 days and then abruptly stopped working. When I checked the app I still had data left for that day so I reached out to customer service to see if they could tell me what was wrong. They were rude and difficult to deal with. They basically told me that the remaining data displayed in their app was not accurate and I must have somehow already hit my 1GB for the day (I definitely hadn’t; I had only briefly used maps earlier that day). Went back and forth with them for about 2 hours before requesting a refund. Save yourself the frustration and choose a better eSIM provider

Thank goodness only bought for 1 day to try out. Don't waste your money.

Avoid this eSim, nothing works! Worst coverage, totally waste of money.

I bought 20gb eSIM service for a trip overseas. The plan worked for about 24 hours after activation and stopped. My phone was showing connection but no data could be used. When contacted customer service, I was informed plan was activated and used so no help or refund. It feels like a scam to buy a service, have it activated and stop service.
