I will admit I was a bit skeptical after seeing some of the reviews and to most of them, it’s what we call an ID-10t issue (Google it). ;) All I can say is that I used to get scam calls every single night from the same area code and prefix just with a different last 4, and those calls have completely stopped with this app. I’m a believer.
Wanted to block certain area codes. I put 1 in there the area code followed by the number. Then I picked 256XXXXXXX, after it updated I still get calls from 256 area code. It does not work waste of money. Maybe I did it wrong but I wanted to block specific area codes from calling me.
It doesn’t work! I get a lot of spam calls from 423 area code and have attempted to block all calls from this area code but they are still coming through

Call Ranger for IOS works great and allows wildcards to block any combination of phone numbers, including up to 5 complete area codes. Unfortunately, blocking is for PHONE CALLS only, the app does not block text messages. If SPAMMERS are SPOOFING their CALLER ID NUMBERS and you want to block calls from a large range(s) of numbers, this is the app you need. Call Ranger provides a refreshing online experience. Questions sent via email are answered quickly and respectfully. In sum… A good product, a very fair one-time price, and the customer service is fantastic.
I didn’t “get it” at first, in terms of exactly how to setup a blocked-number list. But I reached out to the author and he helped me out immediately. It’s all setup now and appears to be working great. Thanks so much for helping me get rid of some annoying calls !
Installed yesterday and am still receiving calls from 233 country code despite blocking the entire 100 million phone numbers in that range. Guess I expected too much.
Great app.had a question and received an easy to follow video within 12 hours that answered my question.i wanted to block an entire area code which was quick and easy to do.highly recommend this app
I’ve been getting hammered with telemarketing from one specific state, so was looking for an app that would block calls from specific area codes. Unfortunately, this app is not up for the challenge. Calls were still being received. I thought possibly I had the app set up incorrectly so I reached out to “customer support” which is an email located in Greece. I reached out twice and there was no response. Completely ghosted. I’ve already filed a complaint with Apple and now leaving a review as a warning to all others hoping to find an app to help reduce spam calls. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
I was averaging 10 robo calls a day, mostly in the morning, from the same area code-prefix in particular. Easy to use app. You can block a whole number or part of it. With the robo calls i was getting the area code and prefix were always the same but they rotated the last for digits. So my choice was to block any calls from area code and prefix, 555-234-xxxx. Once in awhile one will slip by but that i don't mind, especially compared to the number of calls I used to get. LOVE THIS APP - Thank you.
