Wrong app

Don’t bother with this app - instead go for the much better more user-friendly Scottish Ferries app. It’s just better in every way.

Not working for the last three days

This happens frequently.

Quite poor

Cannot buy or keep tickets. Still, at least the timetable is zoomable. Like the website there is a warning of a change in timetable to Skye but it does not say whether the timetable is the correct one. I agree with the other review that says both the app and website need obvious improvement.

App started coping data from my notepad

No security settings or options, no data or tracking details provided. Started pasting text from my notebook. Don’t trust this company anyways, worst ferry service in history, I’ve priced terrible service, no residents discounts and a monopoly over almost all the Scottish island, disgusting,

Worse than useless

Eg. Mallaig -Armadale … the app busily tells you what isn’t running, but not what is. You have to look at a tiny PDF timetable, then cross reference with a different page that tells you what is cancelled.

Surprisingly Adictive

No ferry to catch but find myself still looking

Used to work

This app used to work but now it won’t even load. It’s been a few weeks and it won’t even load anymore yet all the details are still loading online

Shambles

The app is commensurate with the Ferry Company absolute shambles. Review from a Scottish Islander who has suffered for uear of extremely poor service

Useless

Absolutely garbage, just like their ferries and ports. A lot worse since the SNP government has been in control. So much for looking after Scotland.

Classic CalMac nonservice

Most of the recent reviews and my own experience typifies CalMac services i.e. not fit for purpose. Ferries, ports, customer services and now the website; none of these have been planned or developed properly. Like many reviewers I have recently been unable to download the CalMac service status app and living on an island suffering many ferry cancellations this is extremely frustrating.
