At Loganair, we are passionate about the future of the world we live in. That is why we have launched our GreenSkies programme.
We are proud to be the first UK regional airline to take such an ambitious step towards managing and mitigating the environmental impact of flying, and see our decision as a clarion call for all transport providers – road, rail and ferry as well as aviation – to address and reduce emissions across the entire transport industry.
We have set ourselves a goal to have our operations carbon neutral by 2040 and have already been working hard on projects behind the scenes.
Green Skies Charge, this includes the introduction of a £1 charge on every customer flight and this will go towards fully offsetting the carbon emissions generated from Loganair’s operations.
It’s important to us that we’re upfront about the £1 charge. We want to be honest with our customers and we know this will help them to understand how committed we are to highlighting the need to recognise the impact of each passenger journey. If we simply incorporated this contribution invisibly into our fares, that important message would be lost.
Funds raised will be invested in projects all over the world that meet internationally accredited standards to remove carbon from the atmosphere. These could include wind farms that will replace coal and gas-fired power stations, and reforestation projects featuring carbon-absorbing trees.

ADS booking
Why is the ADS booking in the app so overly complicated? Each time you use the app you have to type in your 13 digit ID, it would be great if the app could remember your credentials. Quite often the price in the top banner is different from the price on the bottom half of the screen. If you try and book a flight like this you get an error message. Very frustrating and it has been like this for months now.

Terrible UX
This app was made by developers with no UX input. - Booking in app ‘claim points’ is the only option, I only want to pay cash - inputting account details does not return a result from ‘Account’ tab - Creating an account the D.O.B selection updates a date to the side, not within the selection box (bizarre 2001 type design) Book through the website, avoid this app.
Bug
Theres a bug in the latest version where if you try to book a flight from 29th of one month to another month, it will reset. Annoying.
Pointless
Unable to book a single flight using this app; on iPAD Pro, I am unable to choose dates of travel; on iPhone 11, I am faced with a blank grey screen when attempting to pay. Don’t waste time or effort with it; use the website, which is effortless.

The mobile app isn’t user friendly. I have a difficult time making an account My booking reference is not working on the apps. Not recommended this app.
Simple and clean app - few UI enhancements needed
The app is simple and clean to use. It’s not over complicated at all. The UI for having multiple boarding passes needs to improve as you need to click in and out of your booking several times to get them all displayed. Failing that, having boarding passes loaded to Apple wallet would be even better!
