Canon PRINT Business Reviews

Problems printing in ios16

T Rhyl on

United Kingdom

Since upgrading my iPad Pro RO ios 16 i am not able to print using the Canon Business app. And there do not appear to be any updates

Freezing when using on iPad

Mariksdad on

United Kingdom

I downloaded this app and after setting it up to find the printer by auto it kept saying no air printers found. I had to programme it manually, in my case 192.168.1.130. It discovered it then, and then automatically when choosing that option. I tapped on the printer icon to show it on the screen. But, when I chose documents from the menu, it came up with three options - print from files, print from photo album and print from WEB. The first and last options both worked fine but the option for the photo, after I’d selected to give permission for the app to access my photo album, whilst I could access all of them, and print them out, when it came to returning to the documents button the screen froze, no matter how I tried, I had to reboot the iPad to get back to the Canon icon, which had reset. This occurred each of the several times I opened up photo album.

App crashing after IOS14 update

Almost perfect

Revver2015 on

I simply hard wired my older non-wireless Canon laser printer into my router and can print easily from iPad mini 2 and iPhone 5s. Most productivity apps allow the option to share to the Canon Print app except Apple’s email (which is AirPrinter only). I have to screen-shot the email in portrait aspect then print as photo. Also, it would be convenient to share a photo from Apple’s Photo store to the Canon Print app rather than having to open the photo store from within the app. Can these two omissions be looked into please?

Great app, ignore reviews from clueless people

Everything works from first try in home and corporate environments. Anyone with inkjet printers please stop leaving 1 star reviews and download appropriate application.

Not got an AirPrint printer?

BerryinManchester on

Excellent IOS application from Canon. Although the application documentation doesn’t mention the ability to print emails from your IOS device, it does have that capability. Read the article number 3459464 on www.macworld.co.uk about how to print an email. Works perfectly. Great pity that it requires IOS 10 minimum. So anyone with an old iPad cannot use the app.

Superb App

I could only print via cable from a desktop to my i-sensys MF8340CDN. Now 3 minutes after downloading the app I can remotely from my ipad pro in three swipes! Perfect!

Doesn't work

I couldn't get this app to print to my Canon network MFP.

Canon Print

Just got the app and works fine as long as what you want to print is on the device (iPhone) or Dropbox. There seems to an option to choose and print from iCloud. Despite there being quite a few docs on my iCloud, the app was not able to detect any. Bit frustrating ☹️

Poor

Trev1uk on

United Kingdom

Had to install this app because the Selphy app told me it couldn't print a web page. So I installed it and the app told me my new printer was not supported. Great. I've used an Epson app before, managed to install it, it found the printer immediately and was using it straight away. So far I've spent 2 hours trying to connect my smartphone to the printer and nothing. The app looks very dated as well. Not something you would expect to get from Canon. Disappointing.
