The first time I used car buys I didn’t have a problem with that. My appointment was made as it was to be made. The prices are great. The second I use CarAdvise they scheduled me an appointment for 5 PM when their call center or CarAdvise itself closes at 5 PM. Therefore the shop could not do service for me because they cannot run it through CarAdvise first. So then I reschedule my appointment for 9 AM two days later. CarAdvise me the same day of my appointment, prior to my appointment time, telling me that the 9 AM slot is unavailable, and that I can go in at 11 AM. I told her advised that the service writer at the shop told me to come in at 9 AM. Another instance was just recently, I made an appointment for 11 AM. CarAdvise confirm the appointment with me for 11 AM. I show up to the shop 15 mins prior to my appointment time to find out CarAdvise made the appointment for 3 PM. I rescheduled for Saturday, March 11. It’s Thursday and CarAdvise has not made my appointment with the shop or confirmed with me. My advice for anyone who wants to use CarAdvise, CALL THE SHOP AND BOOK YOUR OWN APPOINTMENT. THE EMPLOYEES WON’T GET ANYTHING DONE RIGHT OR ON TIME. Their price is great but that’s all they’re good for.

This app is inconsistent. Doesn’t load and when it does the quality of service received is almost intolerable. Needs to be updated.

This is the worst app ever they scammed me and took my money. Kept charging my credit card several times. The representative was very rude and hung up on me. Don’t install this app you’ll regret it.

Caradvise states that their pricing is lower than in store pricing. This is absolutely FALSE! I got an invoice from the store which was about $100 less than caradvise!! Here was their response: The price you see on the receipt from the shop is the price that CarAdvise pays the shop. The price you pay is pretty much always slightly higher. The difference is the margin that CarAdvise keeps. That said, the margin is a little high on this so one of my supervisors will be adjusting the price and sending a refund of $xx back to you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention! How can they claim that it’s lower than in store pricing!?? Mind you it was only a partial refund of the difference they only refunded about half so still paid $50 over…therefore not being lower than in store pricing.

So far have only used it once. First issue luckily the service center did get notified of my appointment so they did know i was coming in. It told me I saved $5.75 on my service, but after talking to the service center I actually only save about $2. Would have been $4, but they charge you a $1.99 fee.

The update said you can add card to your wallet on phone but you can’t !

Had my rear brakes and wheel bearing replaced through the app and both showed as discounted services within the app though would not claim the amount / % saved. However when the actual service was provided by a shop selected through the app no actual discount was applied for either service. Then they send an email with Greg Tepas on the auto signature claiming to tout the value of the app.

REMOVE CONVENTIONAL OIL FROM YOUR PLATFORM!!! Y’all made me waste 30 minutes just to find out PEPE BOYS DOESNT DO CONVENTIONAL OIL!!! Deleting app!!!

This app is a 3rd person service that doesn’t benefit you in anyway, I dont know why anyone would use this. It made scheduling more difficult, it took longer of an overall process and at the end it said congratulations you saved zero dollars.
