Now you can follow up to five people simultaneously. Right on your phone, The CareLink™ Connect app provides an easy way to view the sensor glucose levels of a person with diabetes using some Medtronic devices.
When a family member or a friend has diabetes, you want to be supportive and stay close. You might want to know if their glucose levels go too high or too low, be able to quickly and easily access their insulin pump or Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system information.
To remotely access sensor glucose levels or pump system information, care partners need to install the CareLink™ Connect app on their smartphone. Additionally, the person with diabetes must have a compatible MiniMed™ insulin pump or CGM connected to the CareLink™ software through the corresponding patient mobile app. For more information about the CareLink™ Connect app, please visit the local Medtronic website or contact a representative.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For real-time updates, the app must consistently receive data from the CareLink™ server, while the insulin pump or CGM system must continually upload data to the CareLink™ server. The CareLink™ Connect app exclusively supports the MiniMed ™ 700-series insulin pump and selected CGM systems. It does not support all other CGM systems, MiniMed™, or Paradigm™ insulin pumps. To find a list of compatible smartphones, please visit your local Medtronic website.
The CareLink™ Connect app is intended to provide a secondary display of insulin pump and CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) data on a supported mobile device. CareLink™ Connect app is not intended to replace the real-time display of insulin pump or CGM data on the primary display device. All therapy decisions should be based on the primary display device.
CareLink™ Connect app is not intended to analyze or modify the insulin pump and CGM data that it receives. Nor is it intended to control any function of the insulin pump or CGM system to which it is connected. Muy mala app
Es increíble como esta app puede ir tan mal. Literalmente llevamos una semana que no vemos nada en los detalles de las alarmas y eventos, se queda colgada… etc. Un sin fin de errores constantes. Ni si quiera hay un widget o está adaptada para usarse en Apple Watch. Lo peor de todo es que han modificado el login para que apps de terceros no puedan conectarse (que por cierto funcionan mil veces mejor y están mejor adaptadas que la oficial). Si de verdad esta app funcionara correctamente y fuera más completa no iríamos buscando otras. Que no olviden que somos cuidadores de adultos y niños con DT1, y que es necesario que estas funciones estén bien implementadas. Se están haciendo de oro con bombas de insulina, consumibles y sensores y no son capaces de hacer y mantener una app en condiciones. A mí, personalmente, me parece una vergüenza.
De mal en peor
Es de lo peor que he visto en aplicaciones. No es que ya no sea compatible con iOS 17 sino que nunca ha llegado a funcionar dos días seguidos… eso después de estar horas peleando para conseguir vincular y meses sin funcionar por ella misma.

La aplicación de cuidador no da datos desde hace casi una semana, pone que está temporalmente indisponible. Como cuidadora de niña diabética es inadmisible estar desconectada de los datos de mi hija. Indignante…
Un desastre
Falla continuamente, es lamentable que sabiendo que son mucho los niños y adolescentes los que utilizan este sistema ( porque es el que pasa la seguridad social) y los padres es la única forma que tenemos de poder controlar glucosas a distancia de nuestros hijos y que no consigan que esta app sea más estable, está continuamente con problemas de conectividad y no puedes ver nada, un autentico desastre.
Aplicación que de manera habitual y por largos periodos está “temporalmente no disponible”
Inaceptable cuando se trata de hacer el seguimiento de una persona diabética.

Nefasta aplicación.
Es increíble que una aplicación funcione tan mal. Algo que es para seguimiento de una persona dependiente no debería funcionar tan mal (cuando funciona). No solo la aplicación, Medtronic en general. Mala atención telefónica, sensores de bajísima calidad, bombas “chinas” que fallan constantemente. Lo peor es que cobran caro para lo que dan.
