Vocab Cards Reviews

Controls Are Horrendous

Love the game, needs custom controls and options. The controls make the game exponentially harder than it needs to be.

Trust me on this, it just is. This was my first Castlevania game I ever played, and now the Castlevania series is one of my fav series, I’m already collecting all the old Castlevania games. The story is great, the gameplay is great, everything about this game is just no joke, hands down great. You just have to trust me on it. This game in my opinion has zero flaws, except maybe the older 90s look if you don’t like that I guess, but even if you don’t like the 90s look for some reason, it’s still worth it to play this game. I mean the gameplay is already incredibly long, but the fact that they double the amount of gameplay by making an inverted castle with a brand new map to explore, new monsters to fight, and more, the puzzles are fun even if they are somewhat irritating at times. One of the things I love most about this is that even tho there is a leveling system, you don’t have to spend time in this game grinding for stats for even a second as long as your determined, skilled, or both. Altogether great game well worth 3 dollars.

I *really* want to like this…

I recently purchased this game after talking with my children about how it was one of my favorite Castlevania titles. The controls on the iPhone version of this is so bad. It’s either too sensitive or not sensitive enough to hitting the right-side buttons that *aren’t* jump, though that one seems to be a little tricky itself.

English Dub is awful. Give us Japanese with English Menu.

Why lock down japanese into japanese menu! Give us option to select different language in dub and menu!

I was super excited to purchase this game as it was one of my top 3 favorite Old school games. However, to my disappointment the In game controller is absolutely awful. When jumping forward it stops in midair a lot and the action buttons are small and a lot of the times I push it and it fails. Unfortunately, I will have to see if I can use a Bluetooth controller or the backbone so that I can enjoy the game. I wish you guys would take a look at this maybe make the d-pad float and make the action buttons a little bigger.

Doesn’t work

Game keeps glitching and taking me to the Dracula boss fight. Hearts also don’t heal you making the game almost impossible. Dracula also won’t take damage.

No external sound

Once again Konami drops the ball on one of their most impressive releases. There is no sound through any external devices, from speakers Bluetooth and analog, Apple TV, direct hdmi, nothing.

Fun game

Game is fun, however playing on ipad the controls aren’t great & the action buttons are so small they are easy to miss which can get you killed.
