Seems to work ok on 3 player but get 4 or more and the game will keep freezing When you try to leave the frozen game it won’t let you and will keep returning you to that game hours after you try leave it I downloaded this with my friend and both of us are having the same issues It’s not a complicated game so I’m really surprised how bad this is Is anyone else having the same experience?

Connection so bad Game stop suddenly

I wanted to learn Catan and the app did well with teaching the basics through a tutorial character. But you cannot physically play a game. Besides the tutorial, whenever you try to create a game it either freezes up or says looking for a game. To fix this you have to delete the app, redownload and log in every time you want to play a game. The app is just broken.

First of all this game is amazing and is a great representation of playing the physical board game. The major downside, is that recently maybe within the last month or two, the game is almost unplayable!!!! Now whether playing multiplayer or single player, often the game will hang and force you to close the app and re open it, but only to find that when the game reopens, it has a message at the top of the screen stating ‘find running game’ and no matter what happens you cannot get back into a game and are forced to delete the app, re download and start again. The process is unbelievably frustrating and having spent all the money for the expansions… you don’t want to have to deal with this on an app that’s cost you nearly ten pound. Worst of all having had to delete the game I’ve lost all my purchases for the expansions… so even though I’ve paid and should have it all, I now have nothing with no way to restore purchases because of the coin purchases format for the expansions. Utterly disappointed.

It’s a simple enough fix to have balanced dice (stack) that follow probability but they’re really not. Expect games where an 11 is rolled more frequently than 6 and 8 combined and to find that the benefiting player has lost several games prior. Expect for an 6/8 never to come up, and then miraculously come up several times as soon as a robber is placed on it. Expect resource to be fed to one player and denied another beyond all reasonable expectations of probability. You’ll both benefit from this and suffer from it, but you’ll rarely feel any win or loss wasn’t decided by the dice. But the point is, that it’s pointless to play any skill based game when the game developers are actively taking measures to influence games with these mechanics rather than let them play out based on player skill alone. Take off the training wheels devs - let the players play and stop trying to help little Timmy with cheap tricks. Nobody is fooled by this.

If you have more than 8 resources then you are 50% certain to get a 7 in your next turn. 5 and 10 are the most common numbers. You have to play those numbers so you don’t lose that much and that doesn’t make you better in real life game

Paid for access to the expansions. Had to reinstall the app to fix a cache error in a recent update. Lost access to my expansions. Emailed support twice across four days and no response!

Constantly recharges me for purchases I have already made and then crashes

I purchased the standard game (500 coins) in the hope the play single player offline games whenever I fancy (either on Steam-MacOS or on iPhone). However, it often doesn’t ‘find a game’ on single player and doesn’t allow me to play. Even after 5-10mins of waiting. Also sceptical about the ‘random’ dice rolls. Lots of 7’s when I’m holding 7+ cards and not many of my ‘high likelihood’ rolls compared to other ai players. Still fun when it works - just want bugs sorted.
