Centauro Rent a Car

I booked a car in Ibiza for 10 days. A representative told me that I need to pay EUR 200 for cash and it will be returned. When I asked for the money back they said it didn’t happen. I have asked them to check the cameras they said ok and never replied back. Reservé un coche en Ibiza para 10 días. Un representante me dijo que tengo que pagar 200 EUR en efectivo y me lo devolverán. Cuando pedí que me devolvieran el dinero me dijeron que no había sido así. Les pedí que revisaran las cámaras, dijeron que estaba bien y nunca respondieron.

The app is not in English. I can’t find a way to change the language. Pretty much useless

Hoping this is a good service, seems good. Will see. I couldn’t finish the digital verification because it wouldn’t recognize or let me type in County or City of Birth and it didn’t recognize from passport.

We’ll see when I go to pick up my already reserved car...but for now I have good feelings.

This app is completely useless when you are not a local. It is not possible to change language. Can’t enter province so you can’t continue with the next step because that “province step” is obligatory . If you e-mail the servicedesk they cannot help you, I even called the servicedesk but they say you need help from IT, but they don’t have a number of IT only an e-mail address and guess what that is the e-mail address of the “service”desk. This is one of the worst apps and servicedesk I even encountered.

Alicante AirPort: Onlangs een auto gehuurd bij Centauro, een nette zwarte Ford. Ophalen gaat zoals we gewend zijn( huren meerdere malen). Bij het terug brengen vertelde een klant onvriendelijke en zeer irritante werknemer (Antonio Desilvio) dat er een kras(je) op zat. Ik vroeg waar dan aangezien bij zwart al lastig iets te zien is. Het bleek een streepje te zijn( plant of zo). Deze was simpelweg weg te poetsen met mijn eigen overhemd. Maar meneer bleef volhouden dat er een kras op zat en melde dat in zijn rapport (kosten €225,-). We hebben foto’s gemaakt en deze gemeld. Nog steeds geen reactie. Een maand eerder hadden we de auto al heel vroeg moeten inleveren, geen kantoor open dus sleutel in brievenbus. 1 dag later werden we geconfronteerd met een beschadigde wieldop( kosten 85 euro). Gelukkig had ik foto’s gemaakt van de hele auto en wat blijkt,...andere wieldoppen. Ook hier een melding van gemaakt dat dit niet onze wieldoppen waren. Gelukkig kreeg ik het bedrag terug omdat ik zelf foto’s had. Bijna weer opgelicht door Centauro. Let dus op bij het inleveren dat je een handtekening krijgt dat de auto goed ingeleverd is. Ga niet zonder weg. NIET inleveren bij Antonio Desilvio, deze onbetrouwbare werknemer van Centauro op Alicante AirPort!! Alicante AirPort: Recently rented a car at Centauro, a neat black Ford. Pick up goes as we are used to (rent several times). Upon returning, a customer told unfriendly and very annoying employee (Antonio Desilvio) that there was a scratch (you). I asked where then since black is hard to see. It turned out to be a line (plant or something). You could simply brush it off with my own shirt. But sir insisted that it had a scratch and reported it in his report (costs € 225). We have taken photos and reported them. Still no response. A month earlier we had to return the car very early, no office open so key in letterbox. 1 day later we were confronted with a damaged hubcap (costs 85 euros). Fortunately I had made pictures of the whole car and it turns out, ... other hubcaps. Here too made a mention that these were not our hubcaps. Fortunately I got the amount back because I had photos myself. Almost scammed again by Centauro. So make sure when handing in that you receive a signature that the car has been returned correctly. Don't leave without it. Do NOT hand in to Antonio Desilvio, this unreliable employee of Centauro on Alicante AirPort !!
