Best on-line shopping app in SA
The app keeps logging me out and does not recognise my details as registered. Neither can i access my checkers profile even though i’ve registered them multiple times on the app. There is no helpline that is able to assist you or a guideline.
The app showed some things were instock and when the order delivered, things were missing and I never received my refund and the R35 credit was retracted.
While I’d love to give a good review, I’ve had way too many orders that are over 2 hours late. Also very often more than 3 items are unavailable after order is placed. Overripe avocados and under ripe papaya is an example of fresh food quality. Do better Checkers.

Pointless app unless you are in a delivery area. Old Checkers app is gone
On several occasions now I have added something to my cart which could be fulfilled due to the item not being stocked .. probably in the specific store. This is an easily fixable problem in my opinion because the inventory data should be available.. live quantity of stock is probably more difficult to achieve on the app but if the store does/ does not keep the item at all should be easy to determine .. use AI or something .. dont show items if the store doesnt keep them
I’ve tried to order 4 times this morning and the app keeps reflecting payment as failed on both cards which do have funds. Cannot even submit an issue on the order as options to submit issue only reference delivery issues which are never the actual issue. I last ordered just last night with the same cards I’ve always had saved on the app
I ordered groceries and the app kept saying payment failed and I had to repay. I used my card and then my wife’s. After numerous attempts I gave up. Then saw thousands of our accounts. Thus payment did went through! Be careful! Rather use other companies
