Buying books do not work for me
I have bougth a book in the app and got nothing. Restore purchases did not work. Reinstall the app have lost all my older books. A mail to there Support was not answered.

Vorteile gegenüber Forward Chess / Chess Studio
Der Vorteil der E-books ist dass man sie auch als pgn File bekommt. Man kann sie also auch z.B. in IOS mit ChessStudio ( nicht mit der App des Gambit Verlags von John Nunn verwechseln) lesen aber auch bearbeiten ( Texte ergänzen , Varianten mit Stockfish 15 analysieren und ergänzen).
Good viewer
Did what it should. New version looks good. But: Some bugs are still in: 1. Most annoying. When I download a png, chess viewer is not one of the apps to share to. It was before version 4.0.1. I did not find a way to get those png to run in the app. Entering URL works, but some png are behind an authentication. 2. When there is a forced mate, the engine shows the last evaluation before it began to be forced mate. 3. Some games crash and cannot be opened again without crash.
Great App with some problems
This is a great app to read chess books. Easily moving forward and backwards, looking for other moves and ideas. Only problem is that since quite some time not always all alternative moves can be seen on the bottom, which makes it sometimes hard to try different variants. This should be fixed.
Last update can not open PGNs anymore
With the last update it is not possible anymore to open PGN files from emails or from my iphone folders 🙁 The app will not be listed in the available Apps if i choose „open with“.
Unterdurchschnittlich
Keine Größeneinstellung des Diagramms möglich. Engine nur unterdurchschnittlich (nur 1 kurze Variante). Das gesamte Layout ist verbesserungsbedürftig. Einige Books sind neuerdings nicht mehr zugänglich. Deshalb nur 1 Stern. Update Support war bei der Wiederherstellung des Books sehr hilfreich. Deshalb Aufwertung auf 3 Sterne
Gute App
Sehr übersichtlich und funktional, navigieren durch Varianten gut gelöst.
Gute App zum Betrachten von pgn-Dateien
Gut gefällt mir, dass man Varianten und Kommentare sehen kann, und dass man durch einfaches Wischen zur nächsten Partie gelangt. Die Grafik ist allerdings nicht so schön wie bei manch anderen Schach-Apps.
Klasse
Die App ist gut zum betrachten von Partien. Das beste sind aber die ebooks. Weiter so!
