not free at ALL! within thirty seconds the app was unusable because it would only show me the paying options. wont even give you the most basic functions for free.
Great app that doesn’t try and rip you off all the time
I have been using this app for 1 year. No issues. When you want to see how a chord is played. It’s simple and easy to use. The scales diagram is also handy.

My go to app for everything
I love this app. It's not just a chord book. You can reverse find chords, work out chord progressions, different voicings for the same chord and you can hear samples of everything. If that wasn't enough they have added lessons, jam along tracks and all the scales and modes are in here too. If you are learning guitar just buy this app. You won't regret it. It's the Swiss Army knife of guitar learning tools.
Valuable songwriting tool
As a songwriter I often "make up" chords and it is brilliant to be able to give them a name through the reverse chord finder. The interface is extremely easy to use right 'out of the box'
fix this!?
i am writing this here to get your attention, chordbank, as your website is down ("too many redirects"... doesnt sound good, does it?)... i actually love your app. i paid for the pro update on my iphone a while back, but now that i've added it to my new ipad, its demanding more money for the same upgrade i already bought. i cannot find a "restore purchases" function, so what is up? the appstore ad for chordbank says that it is compatible cross-platform - so, i should get what i paid for! have written to apple about this. please, do the right thing.
