Chordbot lets you create and play chord progressions in different styles easily. Just add chords, select instrument tracks and hit play.

Experiment with complex chord progressions without having to master an instrument or music theory first. Great for songwriting experiments or to create your own backing tracks for instrument practice. Easily create arrangements and mixes by selecting from hundreds of piano, guitar, synth, bass and drum tracks.

This is the full version of Chordbot with all features enabled. There is also a free evaluation version (Chordbot Lite) with disabled save/export features that you could/should try before buying the paid version.

Powerful, but yet underrated

Please continue to update this app and more adding progressions styles.

Band plays your chords!

So happy this is still working

Lacks live functionality

Cannot change instruments without it starting the loop again. Should continue playing in same position in loop when you change to preview. Therefore it cannot be used for live backing, no midi input control either. Pity, because the sounds are nice.

Quite powerful but very understated

I bought this app a while ago bout forgot about it ...This could possibly be due to in frequent updates that will bring beer back to the forefront of peoples minds. Please add more progressions styles This is a crazy idea what would happen if this application could output midi to other applications. This will be mind blowing. That way you can use a button link and playing real time.

Excellent

There's something rather special about the music Chordbot produces... atmospheric, powerful and haunting. The presets are superb and the app is really easy to use. The MIDI files transfer perfectly into DAWs and, if you obtain the original samples (details in the manual), it's easy to continue developing the ideas, there. Customer support is exceptional, too.

Great little app

If you are looking for a way to setup a chord progression to practice noodling along to, this is perfect. UI is a bit different from your usual iPhone app, but its feature rich and does the job perfectly. Try the free one first to see if you can find your way around ok.

Please change it back

I liked the old version better. It looked nicer and it was easier to use. And now after another update, it keeps crashing. This used to be my favourite app.

Oh dear...horrible interface

Used to be great n clear, now it looks like a meteor has hit the design...sack the designer.

A Slight Step Backwards

Please bring back landscape mode.

Nice update! And it has just been updated to work on older devices, like my iPad 4! Great job.
