Crashes constantly, now no maps appear. Multiple requests for assistance go unanswered.

The offline maps don’t work or are unreliable and looking up places, even city museums, no longer come up in searchers. I’m so disappointed as I used to recommend this app to so many people. Now I’m looking for an alternative.

I have found that my downloaded maps don’t always show maps when not connected to WiFi. I have a apple iPhone and 10 years ago had no trouble but now intermittent

Best offline maps on AppStore. Been using this app for over 10 years and it is a lifesaver.

I am on WiFi and just tried downloading an offline map for use later, and it didn’t work. Just stalled.

There’s a few annoying things but overall is very useful. I’ve used it for about 7 years. Little symbols with numbers appear on items of interest but the symbols are very small and the numbers aren’t accessible. What are they for? Is there some index? Some improvements I’m sure the users would pay for include showing or accessing the GPS coordinates, leaving breadcrumbs, showing or accessing altitude (elevation). Please consider. After last update my off line maps don’t display unless I have previously and contiguously been connected to the internet. In other words, if I turn it on without it being on the net, the downloaded offline maps won’t display. Why has this changed? Now in June 2023 the app has totally failed. Maps will not show. I am very angry.

This was a good App but now none of the maps will display. I have sent email requesting help but no reply.

I’ve used this app on a number of European trips over the past 10 or so years. It’s been brilliant. However, having used it now on a current trip, I have to say whatever the developers have done in recent times has degraded the app. Most of the time now, unless you’re connected to wi-fi the map screen comes up blank (i.e. white). Yes, I’ve tried all the usual ‘re-start the app’ and ‘ensure your software is updated’ tips, but to no avail. So the concept of using this app as a reliable, offline map source is now nonsense. Sadly, I’ll have to look for an app now that’s more dependable. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone while it’s in its current state.

This used to be an amazing travel app. We used it to travel in tens of the largest cities. We never got lost. I had hundreds of saved places in lists. Whatever was done to the app lost all my data. Nothing could bring it back. I had to re-download maps. I decided to try one more time on a current trip. The app is simply unreliable now. On a number of occassions opening the map simply gave a blank screen with a blue dot. Also the number of places indexed to search has vastly diminished. Most searches resulted in a useless set of results from thousands of kms away. I will be deleting this app once I post this review.
