CityMaps2Go Pro Offline Maps

I was able to download numerous maps after Xmas 2024 but none of the maps work offline. Downloaded maps “do not” work offline

Purchased the Pro version few years back. Even when it shows a notice that the map is outdated and I proceeded to update it. After the update still says the map is outdated. Guess the developer stopped updating this app. was one of my favourite apps. DC

Before my trip to Scotland, I downloaded all of the maps and absolutely nothing worked once I was there. Thankfully our rental had sat nav for when we were driving but this app left us high and dry when exploring towns and cities.

We have been able to download maps from all over the world for the initial modest cost of the app. We are happy enough with the quality, despite some occasional inaccuracies. A very good buy for the world traveller. Some issues when using offline. We generally have to have the app open and have recently used it just before closing or losing wifi. Otherwise the offline maps will not open.

I have a number of downloaded maps stored on my phone with numerous points of interest pinned on them. Unfortunately, a number of months ago the the maps stopped populating when I opened the app. My saved locations are there, however, there is no map underneath them. I’ve been hoping that the company would fix this issue, however, they haven’t. I have sent a number of emails, and the responses from the company have been limited and weak.

Very useful when it works. Annoying to have to reload app when map doesn’t show up on iPad and iPhone up to date OS.

The app claims to work offline but my downloaded maps never show without a WiFi connection. Totally useless without WiFi or cell service.

Common DEVs, listen to these reviews, please fix your product! This was an amazing app, but it appears to be broken. Not worth using—but I also cannot find a good replacement that does not charge the ridiculous monthly subscription fees. Please help!

I use it mostly when traveling and download all the required maps so it’s easy to plan my trip and get around without internet acces. I got a couple of bugs though, the offline maps weren’t working and were blank when I used them. I had to delete the app and all its data and reinstall it a couple of times, including downloading the maps again.

I have the pro and regular version of this app. Have had it for ages. Same issue every time. Unless I am connected to wifi or data my downloaded maps never show up. It’s very frustrating. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and no change. I may as well stick to google maps.
