Each update makes this game closer to a P O S. Greedy Tencent company is trying to dig every penny from restructuring the whole game play and cards balance. Avoid it unless you want to sponsor the cheap and immoral Chinese game company.

A few years ago this game didnt have age restrictions to type in chat but now there is and you cant communicate with your clan which is super annoying..

I started playing this game when it launched back when I was in middle school. It quickly became one of my favorite games and have played it pretty consistently since. It used to be a nice, real-time, pvp game that (when truly known how to play) turns into a game of chess. Of course there were good and bad cards, matchups, etc; but for the most part things were balanced and stayed balanced. Updates were “balance changes” which were exactly as they sound: updates to balance and fix strong or weak cards. It made games more about the player and the skill they had (macro and micro, elixer and cycle counting). It encouraged deck diversity and skill; to find the one that fit your play style and can use to success across matchups. The last year has honestly been quite sad. Every update/balance change introduces some form of game breaking mechanic. Whether that be boosting a card way too much or adding new ones to the game. It stays for a while (I presume to make money off all the shop offers they push out for said card) and then nerf it. There have honestly been too many to remember but I’ll try. It started with goblin giant, and shortly after came evos. Both remained beyond broken and strong for months. Then it was just whatever new evo dropped that update. Then they started reverting nerfs they already knew were needed from previous updates (during the golden ages of balancing) such as guards surviving arrows and gob drill spawn speed. Then cannoneer, then little prince, then giant, then void, then dagger dutchess, and now with the recent update goblin machine. I wouldn’t doubt I’m forgetting some. Every single update is the same: break game, make money, nerf cards, start again the a week later. It’s resulted in “metas” in which the same handful of decks are being used because those are the ones that use the broken cards well. There’s no diversity in gameplay. This next part might be biased because I don’t play those decks, but the cards/decks they are choosing to boost and control metas are beyond toxic. And it’s slowly changed the player base towards that as well. It’s next to never you run into a good sport. Everyone just spams, bms, and some even will join your clan to cause problems. It’s made not only the gameplay, but the interactions as well unenjoyable. This last update introduced a new type of battle in the “Queens Journey.” This entire game mode is what I feared CR has come to. Can we please add some of these cool game types to challenge friends to? 1v1. Me and my wife play and decide a lot of stuff on who wins and the game types have become stale. Next game type should be a 4 evo slot game. Thanks
