So Helpful

Presto.35 on

I saw my daily screen time drop 3.5hrs/day after installing and actually blocking the apps I spent the most time on. I feel like I’ve gained control over my phone, without having to make it a brick with no fun apps or social media downloaded at all. This app really does help you practice moderation, and makes it so much easier than if you were doing it by yourself. I’ll probably keep the pro version of this for at least the next 5 years. I can’t recommend it enough!

Not Like the Rest of These Kind of Apps

This doesn’t just limit your screen time, it helps create habits organically & instantly changed the way I use social media. I set my limit to 6 opens a day for a total of 1 hour max. I used to spend about 2.5 hours a day on social media mindlessly scrolling. In the upcoming year I am switching to the push-up challenge setting to see if it works just as well for me. Thank you to the folks at ClearSpace for creating this.

Great app!

Actually worth it

I’ve been trying to limit my screen time for actual years but nothing sticks. I am truly addicted to my phone, and it doesn’t help that I have ADHD. This is the only thing that has worked. I love how I can still access restricted apps, so long as I do an exercise. This makes it impossible for me to spend 5-6 hours on YouTube and it forces me to prioritize my time so I’m actually using apps as I should! I also love that you can’t alter your settings until the challenge is over, and how you can sign up with people so there’s actual accountability. It’s been really annoying…but it’s saving my time. It’s been 3 days and my mental health has already improved a ton. Thank you creators of this app! 🙏🏼 I will be purchasing a subscription and telling everyone I know.

Great idea

I’d like to see a family plan and expose the monthly sub which isn’t accessible in the app. I want my kids to do push ups to use this app but there’s no family plan to enforce that

Changed my relationship with IG

Anneso xoxoxo on

This is my first ever review but I just had to spread the good word. I have tried a bunch of these blocker apps and thought that there was nothing to do but go through cycles of deleting the app from my phone and downloading it again and over and over. This does successfully curb my thoughtless defaulting to IG, but it also allows for some intentional "mindless scrolling treat time" which is super important because I think draconian changes aren't sustainable long term. It genuinely has, over extended use, rewired my relationship to Instagram. Try it out ♥️

Great but glitchy

cici616 on

The free version with one app has been highly effective in curbing automatic social media use. I decided to try the free trial to add other apps that tend to be a time sink as well- however every time I try to search an app not automatically categorized by the app the whole page crashes. I would also love to be able to add websites more easily as I have removed apps from my phone but still find myself going to the site in a browser. I understand these can be linked to an app but do not bring up the prompts to use when you choose mindfully, which is challenging when you need to use the site for information etc.

Taking back my time

helenakg97 on

United States

This app has totally helped me take back my time, forcing me to take a beat before impulsively opening social media. I also love the challenges that get my body moving in order to open the app - I only wish there was a setting to prompt exercise all the time, not just within challenges. I also wish there were options for longer duration use, as I use social media for my business and sometimes need to spend more time on Instagram editing reels or answering messages. Otherwise great app!
