Not worth it

This is a great app, I’ve been using it for years, early on before you found a way to monetise almost everything on it. It’s really disappointing if you create a fan base and then start aggressively promoting to those who have been loyal to you for years. I’m talking like every click on the app brings up a new subscription request. Don’t bother putting all your personal information into this app, because they will literally lock it away and ask you to pay to access it again.

Been using this for 8 years to track my period and love it! However I’ve recently begun tracking my feelings on there to see how they line with my cycle. I wish there was a more neutral option when logging feelings, such as feeling “ok” or “fine”- rather than only being able to choose between distinctly positive or negative feelings.

i've been using clue for years now and it's always served me really well - zero complaints whatsoever (even the features hidden behind a paywall). i am now however getting more and more frustrated by the ceaseless pop-ups advertising the paid clue membership. it feels like every single time i track something new, i get the pop-up immediately. it's genuinely stopped me from tracking as much because it bothers me so much.

Best app I have used to follow my cycle for YEARS. I have learnt so much valuable information from this app! It has made me a better woman I can’t speak highly enough!!!

I’ve been using this app for a few years at this point but the way you ask me every few second a to choose my plan is so frustrating and feels so scammy. When you enter the app it automatically goes to choose your plan, then when you track any period stuff it asks you again. Stop please! i’m not going to get a subscription. There’s enough subscriptions in this world without one for a period app. The only reason i haven’t deleted this app is because i only use it once a month.

It does the job but the constant pop-up of ads to buy the upgraded version makes it annoying to use. You can’t even open the app without getting a pop-up ad for the paid version.

Long time user for almost 8 years and the app works but I hate how I have to pay to access the information about my body. Clue uses my body and my period as a means of profit. The calendar app is fine but I dislike that the app profits off of withholding the analysis section unless I pay money for information about my body.

I tried a few apps and have now been using Clue for 3 years or so. I loved its no fuss, no cutesy frills, just elegant and easy to use interface and it’s been perfect for what I needed. The one thing that has me on a regular basis wanting to delete it and just use the apple health app instead is the CONSTANT pushing to subscribe to a plan. I get it - I know you deliver a super detailed app with education and deep features, and that you do of course need to advertise this. I am all for paying subscriptions for apps that deliver me value, in fact I have that many subscriptions a month it’s overwhelming (maybe I need an app to track my app spends!). However my needs are very basic here - I just want to track my cycle, and occasionally moods associated with it, and be able to look back at a glance at past lengths/variability. I don’t want children, my partners had the snip and I’m educated enough already on my body!! Is there some way to reduce the frequency of your offers, and just have basic functions without the hassle every time I open the app, please? It’s like I’m being made to feel guilty for using your app and not paying. Maybe you could even entice me and perhaps others who may feel the same with a one off payment, or minimal once per year cost to just use the app with fewer pop ups, as I would be happy to do so for the otherwise great app you have built 🙏
