I have been using this app since last year. It was pretty good for a while, but unfortunately for the last few months it’s been having issues. Every time I use my watch to track a cold shower it gives me an error when I end the session that reads “The data couldn’t be read because it is not in the correct format.” I made sure my phone and Apple Watch were both updated, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. Despite this, it does still log the data from the session in the app, so it does still work, but it’s a bit buggy.
An improvement I would suggest (aside from fixing the above issue) is that it would be really nice if starting a session from your Apple watch automatically put the water lock on. The app I use for surf tracking does this and it’s a really feature.
Glitchy
I’m having trouble with the app reporting it cannot record, stops recording and then does no upload from watch to app for proper tracking. Kind of bummed.
Apple Watch Alert Error
I love the app but I have sent in multiple report issues with their app. My Apple Watch comes up with an Alert Data error everyday when I use. I have to delete app off watch and redownload everyday:(
Worked one time
Got my hopes up because I thought I finally found my app to track my heart rate in the plunge on the Apple Watch. Well my excitement after one use quickly turned to disappointment. Now the watch tracks the item but it does not save. It gives an error on loss of internet connection even though the data is there. The data does not come over into the iPhone app even though my phone is close.
It’s unfortunate. This app was what I was looking for.
So much potential
This app has so much potential to be good. Unfortunately it does not work at all. Unless you manually log all your data and are fine without the heart rate data because it never works.
Great App for Apple Watch Plungers!
I wanted something that would track my heart rate during my plunge and this one worked great! Of all of the cold plunge apps I’ve tried, I like this one the best. No issues for me so far, hopefully the issues mentioned in the previous reviews have been resolved.
Meh…
My timer disconnects and stops working on my watch when my hands are under water…. Pointless just a waste of time because 2/3 times so far it’s “lost connection” I’m over it, I’ll track it on my own.
Stopped working
Stopped working today. Just says error please fix
Can’t even log in
Using an Apple phone and watch.
Can’t get past the log in screen.
Tried logging in with Apple ID and creating an account manually. Same result.
Buggy!
I really wanted to like this app. Unfortunately, it seems to have a different error every day. Today I got the “Internet connection appears to be offline” which seems to appear fairly regularly, even though the phone is nearby. Today it also filled in yesterday’s date and when I changed the date, the heart data disappeared. Buggy, buggy, buggy app!
