If you are “tool driven” this is the software for you bounds to fill your day with busy work then this is the software for you. Highly counterintuitive it make a 5 min job a 10 min one taking you away from what you are there to do. Not many redeeming features-feels like it was designed by a committee without the user in mind. It was a sad day when our organisation forced us to use this package.
On the iPad app, when I log in, the actual confluence space is displayed inside the small login modal form. Picture can be provided , impossible to send a support request to atlassian even when logged in to our site. Happy to revise this developers when you fix it.
Unfortunately too many companies are forcing this torture device on their employees. If you have a tiny bit of option to avoid anything from Atlassian do that. It’s real disgrace that so big a successful company can create so horrible products. Maybe you’re thinking there are worse out there, but don’t be mistaken gambling companies at least exploit people with something they want. No one asked for this
For technical roles, mathematics plays an essential role in system specification or analysis of a problem. At the moment, the only way to incorporate decent mathematical write-ups is with Confluence Cloud add-on that does not render on the page unless you click it, and even then, it displays as a fullscreen image. It should not be up to third parties to make this kind of feature, it’s a common and fundamental part of markdown renderers. The absence of native LaTeX makes it impossible to read mathematically oriented Confluence pages on a mobile, and is a main source of frustration for myself and my team if we want to check something, as we have to use a computer to check something, and the rendering is extremely slow and clunky. This is to be expected for a third-party app, and I don’t blame them. Considering there are extremely fast and lightweight renderers out there like KaTeX, this seems like a really straightforward fix for something that has caused significant friction for years.
Great app, love it so useful for working on the go
Hi since yesterday I can’t access the app. Is this only me or everyone? our company uses okta for authentication and I’m using iPhone 13 Pro Max. And I also updated the app to latest. Could you have a look into this as I start to use this app quite often nowadays
What is there works great - and better than the desktop client. Nice and fast and a refreshingly nice UX. But too many basic features are missing to the point that you can’t use this app alone. For example - you can’t duplicate a page.
My company is using Confluence extensively and it really helps communicating between people and teams! All pages are open, we tag people and they get notified… The UI may not be perfect but Confluence is really a solid choice and the mobile app is very convenient for quick access on the go!
This lacks so many features compared to the web client, and sadly I have to use this entire ecosystem for work. There are many better alternatives. Pages that contain anything dynamic such as a ‘create from template’ button require you to tap load first, then press view. Not sure what the point of that is, other than a limitation in their tech stack. The navigation is less intuitive too. When I tap a ‘root’ page in the side panel, it doesn’t load the page, and I have to select it again… Native clients clearly aren’t a priority for Atlassian, which is a shame given their resources. I’ll be uninstalling and grudgingly using the web client.
Like all the functionalities and haven’t come across any major bugs yet.
