Every time I turn the volume down it just decreases and decreases until there’s absolutely no sound and every time I try to turn the volume up it just goes back down again without me pressing anything!!!!
No schedule option to program audio, lighting, etc to automatically switch on at a pre determined time or on a repeat function.
Unbelievably slow to use via 4Sight and even on a local area network, it’s almost useless. Once running it’s sort-of ok on a local network. I’m using a fast fibre optic WAN line and commercial grade local network kit to put that into perspective. If using it to control audio equipment and streaming via Apple Music from the same iOS device this app will often disconnect from the C4 director.
I’ve been using OS3 since it came out, it’s a huge game changer in the automation industry, simple to use, easy to customise for the customer, it looks really good and runs real smoothly, now with the OS 3.2 it’s even better!
Wonderful automation system but don’t bother trying to log in remotely... it takes forever to do anything. You would think Control4 would have fixed this a long time ago!
Although OS3 is a major improvement from OS 2, the startup time of the app is about 10-15 seconds. This is really unacceptable
I thought this would be the right system for our smart home we built, and it turns out it’s too clunky and slow responsive. We spent way too much money on our smart home to have such a clunky and what seems to be an outdated operating system. I’m trying to figure out an alternative way to run my house as this just isn’t working smoothly.
Elegantly Apple-esque, but light years beyond. Steve Jobs would be jealous.
The app does not work and have tried multiple times to get support.
