It's a nice concept, but needs some work. There's one free crossword puzzle per day and one free bonus puzzle per month. To play more than that, you have pay 'coins'. While coins can be earned by watching ads or participating in third-party promotions, the easiest way to 'earn' coins is to buy them. The initial stash of coins that you earn when setting up the app and getting going may go pretty fast if you want to play archived games or use hints during a puzzle, and there are no reward coins for finishing puzzles (there are one-off rewards for playing every day for a month, etc., though) so basically, many people will have to pay-to-play. On top of that, there doesn't seem to be a way to stop seeing ads, so at the end of each and every crossword, you have to sit through an ad before you can proceed - even though you'll likely have to pay to play. Not really something I want to recommend to friends - there are certainly better crossword apps out there. I would have expected a better, more social app from WWF. The puzzles are fun enough, and easy enough that most people should be able to get through without using too many hints (or without hints at all). Good for a quicky crossword, no good if you're looking for a challenge.

Always look forward to the daily Crosswords. However, the last few days app keeps freezing up and when I close down and come back into it I am getting someone else’s account. A name I’ve never heard before. HELP!!

I love working the puzzles, but I have 4 issues with the app. One - my friends disappear from my list and I have to delete the app and reinstall it to bring them back. Two- every time I open the app after the last reinstall a few days ago, I have to relog in with FB every time. It wasn’t like that before. Three - I can’t send or receive gifts from my friends. And four- the three hint buttons along the bottom are too easily clicked by accident. There should be a flag or alert when you click asking if you're sure. I have lost points too many times because I missed the space bar and hit a clue button. Otherwise I love the game and the ability to go back and work other puzzles. But see if you can fix any of these items, please!

It’s not a bad game, just so many ads. Can I just pay to get rid of them?? Royal Match has infected this game.

Even after your update the app still isn’t fixed ! The puzzle you get for free after watching an ad still will not load and all you get is an error ! So just what did you fix with the update I didn’t notice anything different ! Same old broken app !

Great game but I can’t play music while playing this game. It stops my music when I play the game. I have iPhone 15 and up to date app. My last iPhone 12 did the same. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’d play more if this didn’t have.

What are the new rules for tournament play. Very confusing. I was in the bonus mode and did not receive the usual points for a puzzle finished in 2 minutes very confusing

When are you going to fix COMEDY CLUB VOLUME 4? The download always fails1 While I enjoy solving the puzzles, the app has 3 significant problems : 1) WAY too many puzzles use the same words to answer very similar clues. I've only been playing about 2 weeks (and <60 puzzles) and I've encountered numerous use of "era," to give just one example. It gets old... 2) The mechanics of navigating the puzzles are clumsy at best. A special problem is having to repeat a filled in letter in order to jump to a new one. You find yourself having to constantly check where the 'live' cell is. Else you wind up losing lots of time with corrections. 3). The game is too intimately tied to Facebook. I don't have a Facebook account and don't want one. I accidentally clicked on a notice that a friend had made a WWF play, and only then discovered I am 'attached' to my wife's Facebook account, with no way to alter the registration. The game thinks I'm her, and tells the player about whom I was notified that I'm my wife. It's ridiculous! WWF does not have that problem. Therefore, 3 stars at best because the above items deserve less.
