Incorrect Information!
Very disappointing. This app is telling me that my P&O Iona European City Break Cruise is going to the Norwegian Fjords on Saturday 30th March 2024! It has never been scheduled for Norway on that date for 2024. Using Shipmate at present I am able to track my cousin on her Royal Caribbean cruise in the Pacific which is how I know it can work properly.
Also, Marine Traffic app and Cruise Mapper app have the correct information for P&O Iona. What is the problem with Shipmate?
Great to begin with
Really enjoyed using the app and spent time adding historic cruises and made plans for our future one through the app. However my login stopped working one day, so I tried resetting the password by selecting ‘forgot password’ however when I do I never receive an email. My wife has the same issue on her account so we have given up using it.

Booked an excursion - didn’t show up
While on MSC Seaside last week I booked an excursion on St Lucia. Emailed a question regarding clarification on meeting point. No answer received. Arrived where advised excursions companies collect from by Tourist Office, with plenty of time before arranged time. Waited for an hour and no one showed. No other local company had heard of this excursion company. No local numbers to call.
Have emailed twice and had no response.

Not sure why this gets so many great reviews. Doesn’t really do much and you just get far too may irrelevant emails which still come through even after unsubscribing. Doesn’t seem relevant to UK customers
Good but some UI issues
Lots of features and useful information. However, the cruise itinerary date scroll is broken. Often doesn’t scroll left or right and stalls - unresponsive to taps. Requires you to exit and enter screen again.
Always out of date.
New cruise itineraries are either very slow or never added with the excuse they are a small team. It would be more useful if the user could add the full itinerary instead of just a start finish date then this information sent back to the team so it could be shared.

I use this daily almost, chatting with others and seeing honest reviews from shipmates that have ACTUALLY done the cruising! Great info for upcoming and past cruises, news and access to deck cams, ship tracking and info all on one app. You can trailer it for just one cruise line if you want to. Recommended for all cruisers.
